Have you ever come across a book called "Calculus without Tears". I found it in our school library and it is what I used to teach myself Calculus. It is very old but was an amazing book. So simple and well explained. Can't even find a reference to it today. It should be reprinted.

All these old, black-and-white maths books look so much more attractive and so much easier to learn from than the new generation of glossy, ultra-thick, multi-coloured calculus books of the last 30 years.

Cool… I have my dad’s copy of this textbook that he used in the 60s. He would later get a PhD in physics.

Where to get excellent modern American Calculus 2 and 3 textbooks with colours that also show it’s real life applications, illustrations and examples just like modern day physics and chemistry textbooks. Advanced Engineering Mathematics is one of the toughest courses I took in school 😅. Asking for younger generation

Would be fun to go through Jung's Red Book and discuss Alchemy. I feel the message of transmuting ourselves from lead to gold through the 4 stages of alchemy is in line with your channel's message and aesthetic :).
