So technically Strider Returns is not really a Capcom game, but a game published by US Gold where they somehow managed to borrow the IP for a side installment. Thus I wouldn't really call the actual Strider 2 on PSX a re-envisioning as Capcom never really acknowledged Strider Returns as a proper entry into the series. I'm sure that you also know that none of the other Master System versions featured here were developed by Capcom in-house, though Sega did a commendable job with the resources that they had to work with.
