Let's face it: Harry is only a captain in Endgame, because Admiral "I rule the universe" promoted him to raise his hopes - knowing she will change the timeline anyway ... After they returned to Earth for real Janeway probably wrote a recommendation for him, saying he was a good ensign for the last seven years - so good, he should keep his position and rank.

I remember this one episode. Harry finds a cave filled with dead bodies on some planet. A portal opens and transports him to a different planet where the natives shove their dead into their end of the portal, assuming the dead were literally going to heaven. Harry (a trained Star Fleet officer who surely understands at least basic first contact protocol, and of course the 'Prime Directive"...ugh...) proceeds to say, "What are you idiots talking about? This portal doesn't go to heaven...the corpses, all your dead loved ones, are lying about in some cave on an empty planet! You guys are sooo stupid! Hahaha!" And then there is Ron D. @@lordmontymord8701 yeah I have a lot to say about BSG. I appreciate how ambitious it was, the sets and production values were completely next level, the technical details were amazing . Things just got so convoluted by the end and I didn't love the fashie overtones, or that they made whats-his-name a ruthless killer so we wouldn't feel bad when his coup failed, which I was rooting for btw- I love whats-his-name and the actress who played Laura Roslin but I got tired of them having absolute power and welding it like a club, and thinking civil rights and Labor power are some sort of communist plot. I didn't love the not-so-hidden nods in the script against the rights of the People, including their literature being a dead ringer for the Communist manifesto, as if that's bad and scary and the Sum of all Fears. I mean really, is this a Boomer audience they were trying to reach or what? Very weird cold war overtones there... But I've always been a raging Leftoid, Labor rights fighter and anti-fascist so I'm sure it would rub someone like me the wrong way But the craftsmanship on set was always incredible so that was a real pleasure to see. I just think if it could have slowed down somewhat in the last two seasons, showed more of average life on Caprica before the attack, that might have been nice. I'm not sure I was on board with everyone being a secret toaster by the fourth season... All in all a hell of a show but like all ambitious projects, seemed to struggle under its own weight at times.
