Thanks Russ for demonstrating the basic process of moving trains. It has clarified for me the sequence to follow to complete the train movements through a section. I have tried to use the same process for the Chippenham heritage series but I have had problems early in the simulation at 5:20 am in dealing with the splitting of wagons from the Down refuge siding and getting them to be moved into the Goods Shed line. Please, can you demonstrate how to start the Chippenham simulation.

Thanks for your comments and it's nice to have some feedback. I'll look at the Chippenham simulation next.

@@railwayruss Your videos encourage me to try the Heritage series except Tonbridge which is seriously difficult. I noted the stress in your voice. The problem with Chippenham I have is with the 6B04 train which has to be placed in the Down Refuge siding and then the engine and 12 wagons have to be detached and designated as 9L04. I uncouple the 12 wagons but the loco is not recognised as being part of the detached section which is to move forward. The 9L04 has to move to Goods Shed West. I cannot get the 9L04 to move out of the DRS. What am I doing wrong?

@@oscardewyldde I actually ran through this part. Email me on russ@pcrailservices.co.uk and I can go though the sequence. I will also be covering this on a video. Please note Front and Rear when uncoupling refer to the last movement made. Try uncoupling the rear 12 which has the loco attached. I suspect you may be uncoupling the front which is now the back, with no loco. Confusing? Yes it is, Look at the < and > to determine which end to uncouple.
