A Look at The Albuquerque Sunport an Airport with a Rustic Southwestern Feel and Modern Technology

My wife and I was just there last week after vacationing in Santa Fe. We were also there last October for Balloon Fiesta. We love that Airport and it's southwest decor. Easy airport to get around in. Definitely one of my favorite Airports!!

Oh man I miss that nice, hassle free airport. Big city airports are so large, fast paced and crowded gives me so much anxiety.

Sunport, one of the most beautiful airports I've seen, small and functional. Thanks for taking us inside for a look around. Sad for those that find it difficult to fly by plane. 😢 I love flying, airplanes are amazing and beautiful machines made by man. Love feeling the power of the aircraft at take off, an adrenaline rush like no other. I'm soaring and totally free when flying. We take risks every day, flying is just another risk.

It's a great way to meet Albuquerque if it's your first time to come into the sunport, it's completely southwestern. It's special and different than all other airports. Someday it's going to have to be enlarged when the city becomes larger. Just has 23 gates needs a lot more than that

Very nice tour of the Albuquerque Sunport! The last time I flew was back in 2006 I think. I'm sorry to hear about your phobia disorders. I suffer from Agoraphobia/Monophobia so I can no longer fly but I used to love it. The last place I flew to and back was Los Angeles. Great video!

I totally understand your phobia, I have the same thing, and also PTSD with driving from many car accidents in my younger days. I may be moving to Bernalillo depending on finding an affordable apt, which I'm finding challenging. Oh well, enjoyed the video! Take care sir.

The Airport should be called Albuquerque International Airport! Sunport, really?? I also worked at an FBO in El Paso. That made me get my private pilot's license! I loved working there 😃 I was surprised to see tjey built a small airport on the west mesa for private planes. When I flew, it was to land at Albuquerque International 😊 Can't wait til I get there next year and have a feast of great Mexican food!! 😃

Yeah, there’s therapies out there for that fear of flying. Spoke to a gal pilot at my FBO who said it did the trick for her (I know not what the method was, though). Thanks.
