Take control of a mining operation run by moose. They mine and sell the gems. You need to decide where to spend the profits. Hire more miners and upgrade their gear. Buy new rails and minecarts to get deeper into the mine. The deeper you get the more valuable gems you will find.

This is not really a complex system and probably could be done on an old C64. Now, it wouldnt be as large in scale, but could do the simple systems in place.

In my playthrough, it reminds me of a big excel worksheet with color coding in the blocks. The colors changing and moving around is really mesmerizing at times.

these Cookie Clicker games need a "Least" upgrade, like it would upgrade the least powerful, smallest, slowest first.

It has that option. If you dont highlight a region/area, it simply groups all together and it will start at the smallest upgrade.

the pay per second gets crippled if you increase the "storage amount" too much. it sits and waits for a full load which takes for ever. it seems to scale way to fast compared to the speed of everything else in the game

I think you're right. I have the loading speed upgraded as high as possible. I would like if we could upgrade that further.

This looks wild hehe, planning on mining the entire map? I've been testing quite a few builds the last couple of days and this ultra wide build always produces less then my dedicated lane builds.

It's a lot of fun. I've been thinking of possible strategies that would result in maximum score. For example, it might not be wise to have so many rails extending out and upgrading them. Some gaps might actually conserve a lot of cash.

It is a lot of fun and super-addictive. I've been experimenting with a couple of different strategies off-camera. I wish there was an undo button! A couple of times now, I messed up my whole strategy by accidently clicking to build something without realizing I had the "Upgrade Amount" setting set to max.

@@Glidercat haha yeah ive been having the same problem with my minecart rails ruining everything with the max upgrade it is minorly frustrating 😂

@@LaSeSiS I'm trying out a run with no rails and no upgrades to anything but the miners themselves. Oh, and also upgrades to the carts taking the wands out for sale. So far, I only have a couple dozen miners, but they are heavily upgraded. It's going very slow!! 😺

You might be right! 😺 It's hard to know what the best upgrades are to do first. There's a bunch of options and strategies to experiment with in this game.
