Amazing developments. You Migaku guys are talented programers and very hard workers.

I have been using this new version for a few days now and I’ve been loving the changes. Pop up dictionary and frequency threshold for 1T cards have been particularly helpful. Looking forward to trying the reader when it comes to beta! Keep it up guys, it’s awesome!

After I got to a level of Japanese where I could live my life fairly comfortably I dropped out of the language learning scene. Coming back into it now and can't believe this product exists. I wish it existed 9 years ago though 😅 Congrats on making the most complete language learning tool so far! I am now an avid fan

Happy you like it. Yeah we will probably eventually make an overview video with all the features of the extension (which will probably end up being like pretty long). This video was more for current users to explain some changes from last version.

@@トゥルーマンチャンネル As the extension is still in beta, we don't do a lot in terms of getting the word out. So no wonder you haven't heard of it :D The setup can be still a bit difficult, so if you have any problems, just come to our discord.

my toolbar is in yellow color theme, it's much nicer to have it in blue and white, and I can't only have the pop up dictionary comes out when I press shift, it's so frustrating that there isn't a comprehensive video guide to teach how to set up everything properly.
@MigakuOfficial3 жыл бұрын
That the pop up dictionary comes up by pressing shift is explained in this video. That the toolbar is yellow seems strange as we do not have a theme that uses yellow. If you can post the problem in the respective discord channel, we can take a look. We will be working on one in the next weeks, as a we are working on some bigger changes that would render videos now useless.

When is public release? and How much will it be?
@MigakuOfficial3 жыл бұрын
We cant give you an exact date for the public release, but we do our best to get the extension there as soon as possible. Once it is in public release it will be free.

Are the new updates ready? You mentioned that these steps will be obsolete soon with a new release coming. I would like to join the patreon and dl the program, but don’t want to invest the time to follow these setup instructions if they will be obsolete very soon. Thanks for clarifying!
@MigakuOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Its not necessarily that the steps shown in this video will be obsolete, but some of the card creation process and Anki integration will change. The things shown in this video are still the same.
@3333juul3 жыл бұрын
Hi, I think it would be useful if you would add one more color to word status because I only add a word to seen if I made a card out of it and not always the sentence fits on the card, so sometimes I have to see word a few times before i would add it to anki and sometimes I would don't add it at all because I remember it after these few times. I think it would be useful especially for reading texts, for example lingq has more colors and it's doing it well, when it comes to reading texts. So one more color between unknown and seen or seen and known would be great, please consider it

Currently its only for chromium based browsers, but once we have our public release at 1.0.0 we will port to other browsers as well.

MattvsJapan’s Refold method, Olly Richard’s StoryLearning materials and the Migaku tools make for an unstoppable combination. It’s been really useful for my Japanese studies. Seriously without the Migaku toolset, trying to do my original method of studying was a huge pain in the butt. SRS is a pain in the butt without it, learning Kanji is a lot simpler, etc. I used to use many different programs and complicated work arounds in the past to do the same things but they sucked and often didn’t work at all. Having this in your arsenal is invaluable.

You guys are constantly making language learning tools, but I think you should speak out a lot more about how language learning works and how it can be more efficent etc. bc if you don't do that the wider audience will never get why they have to use your product. Just a friendly suggestion guys. Hope you will become more successful.
