Is there a way to import the Known Words from the course into the Migaku extension? In the extension settings, I only see the option to type in words by hand. Edit: and immediately after I post this, the extension just updated my Known Word list. No idea why or how, but at least it worked.

Great video, lots of encouraging ideas here! I love the idea of zero target sentences. Makes me realise that my current goal of learning lots of vocabulary (through WaniKani in my case) is just step one. Once I've built up a big enough vocabulary I can start watching anime that contains zero target sentences, and that's where the real improvement will begin. I echo what others have said about the audio. It sounds very compressed - it has the effect of sounding like your voice is shouting, it's quite intense! Thanks for an otherwise great video

Additional Information: Although よん and なな are probably the most frequently used readings for 四 and 七 when you encounter them, especially when counting up and down, you have to be careful. When counting up, they are usually read as し and しち, respectively, while when counting down, they are read as よん and なな.

In my opinion this is a very good way to learn Japanese ! If I have one thing to add to make that perfect is exercices ! Flash card is important, right. But for grammar Exercice can be really helpful ! For passing JLPT for example

Oh you polyglots and your super powers! Must be nice to have them :') Self-discipline and dedication will get you _far_ for sure, but you really need to be a polyglot (of some level) in order to fully master a language in 1-2 years. Others should be able to do so in 2-4 years for sure, again with enough time and self-discipline, and then us poor polygnots don't have a chance of ever reaching that level of fluency :'<

I have been going through the academy through the app for a month or so and it's AMAZING. When I started Japanese 5 years ago, the beginner roadmap was so much clearer than mandarin. In the beginning stages of learning a language it really helps to have a structure and a path that gives you enough details, but the focus is still on immersion. This is so hard to do, but i'm SO GRATEFUL for what the team has done with academy. Now I can get my jumpstart with mandarin just as fast as when I started Japanese. By the time a few months passes, I'll have learned all the basic grammar, I'm immersing, i'm adding sentences as fast as I want, reviewing them as fast as I want. Great work guys.
