You all hold the royal family up like it is the ultimate in families. They are like everybody else, they have their foibles. So let us consider your points, ...... it is about supporting each other as a family, looking at what is best for all, and considering other people’s feelings. Why do you think these standards are not applied equally to all members of the family. When Charles married Diana and refused to give up his mistress, was he doing that to support his family? Or was that what was best for his wife and eventually kids? And whose feelings was he considering? Family is messy, but if you have the perfect family, lucky you.

Sophie is very astute meaning that she fully understands her role and place in the royal family. This is called maturity - something 'the person' who left simply does not have. Your role is service and it's not about you. Once you understand this, you should not have too many issues which Sophie and Kate have both proven. Also 'the person' who left stated that noone helped her when she first started - not true - it has just been said that Sophie took 'the person' under her wing to guide her.

Many tend to compare, rather than make positive observations of one's character, which is important. Sophie, I would never refer to as a 'secret weapon.' She spends a great deal of time with Her Majesty. She has a couple of Royal Orders and is a kind and empathic individual. Her husband has already taken on the duties of RH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, when Philip took a step back from his duties. (Now, since the death of Prince Philip, on April 9, 2021, Edward will be Duke of Edinburgh. When Sophie first came into the spotlight, as is usual - the media and others speculated that she would be the 'next Diana" or 'Diana look-alike.' There is a resemblance around the face and that is all . Born an Earth sign, and more practical and hard-working, it is no surprise for Sophie to be spending a great deal of time with the Queen. It clearly demonstrates, from recent interviews that she knows HM Elizabeth and knew Philip very well indeed. She has a deep love for them.

I completely disagree with you that Sophie's background is similar to Meghan's. Her background sooooo much more similar to Kate's. Kate worked as well but she was having a hard time doing it publicly because she had already started dating William very young. She was a scholar of a student and all her friends have nothing but good to say about her. Unlike Meghan who has made enemies and dumps friends as she goes. Kate and Sophie both had stable family backgrounds. Meghan did not.
