@@joe8427 Sadly it seems the mass majority of people who had missing posters for them after 9/11 were confirmed victims months and years later. I remember reading stories from hospitals on how they waited hours for victims who never came because so many people either died inside the towers or by jumping.

I lived in nyc midtown Manhattan at this time and I remember seeing those missing person posters everywhere 😢 never forget 🙏🏼

I was a child when I went on the roof of the South Tower back in 1994. I was thirteen years old here in NYC when the Twin Towers were destroyed. I miss the Twin Towers everyday. #NeverForget911

@@fivehead6675 Muslims were being really discriminated against due that time. My auntie around that time witnessed her Muslim coworker get fired cause of the attacks cause it made the other coworkers feel uncomfortable

A lot of people were sadly still in the buildings when they collapsed or extremely close to it, so it took during or months and years after the search of the remains of the twin towers for remains to be found. Initially after 9/11 though many people who didn't see their love one come back that afternoon or night had major hope they were out there but maybe in a hospital or wandering around, making the tragedy that their loved ones died even more heartbreaking.
