A look back at Queen Elizabeth’s arrival in Malaysia in 1972

Britain's longest-reigning monarch, who passed away on Thursday (Sept 8), first visited Malaysia 50 years ago.
Accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Anne, Queen Elizabeth II arrived at Port Klang on Feb 22, 1972, aboard the royal yacht Britannia.

The common international language of English brings enormous success, logistic infrastructure of road and railway system was pioneered by the legacy of the rich English heritage. Singapore 🇸🇬 is one very good example !. Just speak English to any layman on the street in Singapore aporean and you will receive a resounding affirmation. English is the common language !, that is why the standard of English and education system in Singapore 🇸🇬 is world class 👏 !.

Last time our Malaysian Dollar was very strong and peg to the British pound sterling before the Malaysian Ringgit was introduced. Plus another mistake made by the Malaysia federal govt was from pulling out of the 1967 currency agreement with Singapore and Brunei.
