I remember vividly when this happened. It was a shock to learn of her drowning her children. People in this small town was outraged, rightfully so. No one ever said I'm sorry. I Pray she remains behind bars the rest of her life. Why she didn't get death is beyond me. Some women will do anything for a man. Never understood that. She wanted to make sure those two little boys were dead. And they were alive when they were put into that lake, when detective dive teams finally locate the car they said that Michael was gripping little Alex’s hand and that another tiny hand was pressed up against the glass of the window. The family couldn’t even see those poor little boys Because being underwater for nine days does horrifying things to the corpses of toddlers. I was alive when this happened, I watched the news and I prayed for those children’s return. Y’all have no idea what it was like. None at all

I still remember seeing the recreation of the car sinking with the baby dolls in it. It was devastating to think of them scared and alone in that car, with no means of escape and crying for their mamma. So no, it would be a mistake for Susan Smith to be released from prison. What rights did Susan Smith have to have murdered her and David Smith's Sons whom God showed favor to David Smith and Susan Smith with a precious blessing of 2 innocent boys?? 30 years that Susan Smith has been incarcerated in, South Carolina, does not fit the punishment for having ended 2 innocent boys. Although, the prosecutor was seeking the death penalty for Susan Smith, but it is a shame that the jury decided the proper sentence for Susan Smith life with the possibility of parole after 30 years. The honorable Judge who presided over the trial of Susan Smith, should have gone over the jury's decision of life imprisonment, and with the possibility of parole after 30 years. The judge should have agreed with the prosecutor and sentenced Susan Smith to death, and send her to death row to await the scheduled time of her execution. The jury was wrong what do you have even suggested life imprisonment with the possibility of parole. Life imprisonment does not fit the punishment did Susan Smith had murdered 2 innocent boys what home did not deserve to die by their mother. Susan Smith not only murdered Michael and Alexander, and whom are the victims, but she also victimized David Smith, is Susan Smith deprived David Smith from fatherhood, the father to Michael and Alexander Smith. With all the rules that Susan Smith has broken in prison, and the exchange of improper conduct when she and a prison guard had sex, it cost that prison guard his job. However, that prison guard should have been smarter, and had more respect for the job he had as a prison guard. He should have been much in control of himself, but he chose to come under Susan Smith's manipulative spell. Society would not be safe if Susan Smith is released from prison. Everyone in the community would continue to look over the shoulder in fear at the prospect of Susan Smith committing another crime of murder. Susan Smith has already had a taste of committing a murder,, so nothing would stop Susan Smith if she were to get involved with a man, that she did not get her way about things. I would tell any man, do not have any association with Susan Smith. Do not lower your character as a person. David Smith has mourned the death of Michael and Alexander for over 30 years, and the loss of 2 beautiful boys, and that mourning the deaths of Michael and Alexander will continue. Michael and Alexander, like David Smith David Smith, and extended families have all been victimized by Susan Smith. And to add, the accusations Susan Smith made by blaming someone else for hijacking / kidnapping / possibly murdering Michael and Alexander, and having the police officers / Community working overtime looking for Michael and Alexander, and possible suspect, when Susan Smith was the suspect whom committed the martyrs the murders of both Michael and Alexander. Countless money was spent to find Michael and Alexander slash possible suspect based upon Susan Smith's description that it was a black man home hijacked her and kidnapped Michael and Alexander. I'm sure that the entire community has been victimized, because the deaths of Michael and Alexander became national news, and we all turned into watch the news, where Susan Smith was going on national TV for 9 days that she was lying to the police, and deceiving David Smith. I think that it is wonderful that David Smith has been able to forgive Susan Smith for having committed the highness murders of Michael and Alexander his faith in God has helped him how to forgive Susan Smith. Forgiveness is not about Susan Smith, rather forgiving someone is about oneself, so that for David Smith set a healing process can begin. Susan Smith's crimes of 2 murders will not go unpunished. Forgiveness does not undo the crime that Susan Smith committed. Forgiveness is about healing, and the ability to allow God to have control of every situations.
