Any branch of a foreign government, any person who works directly and indirectly through a affiliated organization for a foreign in US should have registered with the Federal Government. I am not sure what the punishment is for violating this regulation, but it should include deportation of those violators, closure of the offending organization plus the confiscation of its asset. This has already been done by many megacorps on Earth, Baron, including recent ones, across nations but also including the US. Although they don't have their own Blackwater esque police forces (hard power), they do have lots of soft power in the form of literally controlling the lives of anyone who has to be in that area or work there or work near there while passing by that area, excluding all the other control they might have over that person by being a megacorp (denial of services, for example). Google town is one example, there are multiple others that you can find within the USA once you dig. Privatized but highly funded services for those who are suffering from dementia or other illnesses do, in some rare upper echelon cases, have their own functioning security forces meant to mimic the forces of the time. These are dementia towns and you are usually not allowed to freely enter them. The reason for this being that some individuals with dementia might experience such strong memory loss, their mind goes back to and can only comprehend a time that has been imprinted the hardest onto their mind. That time could be WW2, the cold war, a place that was not regularly developed to match technological changes and therefore mimicked a Victorian town. To avoid causing further confusion which could destabilize the individual, causing panic or even rapid deterioration of the individual's mental condition, they build an area that entirely replicates that old spot and everything within it. Dresses, clothing, technology, architectural design, scents and amenities (they do try to provide the best possible amenities that were available at that time while quietly integrating some more modern ones, like teddy bears or even robotic companion pets that dementia patients won't be discomforted by or struggle to care for which would be a bad idea considering that most of them have forgotten how to care for themselves let alone a pet, but the robotic pet allows them to receive all the emotional benefits from having a normal pet) are all made to mimic the timeframe that these patient's minds will default to, as it is the most imprinted onto their mind due to it being their childhood, for instance. Nocebos (opposite of a placebo) hit hard af for people with dementia so any confusion like that can practically shed years off of the life of someone experiencing dementia while giving them a sad death where their thoughts are racing and their brain clocks itself out from fear. So although the proposal of the politician from Nevada is highly concerning considering their alleged correlation to the Chinese government, it is not a strong departure from the current state of many places within the United States. - 15 year old girl.
