This is a real testament and credit to the incredible, dedicated and meticulously detailed work of the 2,000 stonemasons, carpenters, craftsmen, sculptors, gliders roofers, stain glass artisans, foundry-workers and other engineers to restore the cathedral to its original glory as it was designed. What a magnificent feat...Thank you all and thank you to those who funded its glorious restoration.

They replace a glass stain window that was in perfect condition to a new version ,sacrilège to modern not a fan it has lost a lot of itself with the modernisation.

Magnificent Bravo to all who worked to restore this wonderful cathedral, I visited it many years ago and noticed a lot of the paintings were black from centuries of candle smoke and grime but I look forward to returning to see it in all its glory👏

We visited the cathedral in 2012. It became even more beautiful, brighter! Many thanks to France for returning the masterpiece to the world and to everyone who donated for its restoration.

It must be remembered that at the time it was built, most people lived in far ruder houses. They may have gotten paid for their work, but they risked their lives to build this tribute to honor God. I take time to thank them for their faith and dedication.

So clean it is a bit disconcerting that it doesn't look quite the same without the 'aged appearance'. However, all the elements appear to be there and we can appreciate it now as it was initially built. I look forward to being able to see Notre Dame de Paris in persona again.

Nice. Very well restored to its grandeur. Amazing restoration in a tremendous labor of love, no doubt by the very skillful artisans. Now, it is so full of color, light and airy. Before, it was more drab and gloomy although still impressive. Another 861 years ? Need to be more circumspect. Things in this twenty first century will not continue as before ... with shocking societal changes among the young and upheavals on the horizon. The recent senseless anti-semetic riots in Paris ... were shocking, insane, and concerning. These rootless people do not appreciate truths, facts, and history.
