A look into the future

On March 20, as part of public transit's 150th anniversary in Montréal, the STM dressed up three métro cars to represent the past. Then, in mid-June, it dressed up three more cars to illustrate present-day public transportation. Today, a view of the future is being added to this original, travelling work of art. Through this initiative, the STM is giving transit users an opportunity to discover how public transportation has evolved over time, in a unique and dynamic way.

Bonjour, stm. J’aimerais savoir le lieu où les voitures sont découplées. Est-ce que c’est juste devant le pont? Et comment faites-vous le découplage? Une voiture à la fois?

Not sure if anyone could help me but does anyone know what the car to the left of the screen at 1:32 is? Ive seen a few photos of it but could never find out what it is called or what it does.

That's the mysterious vacuum train, risen from the ashes of tue MR-63 that was distroyed in the fire in the 1970s

@@NazmusLabsIts actually the MR-63 Vacuum Train that replaced the retired MR-63s. It is only used at night when the Metro is closed to clean the tracks up. If your lucky, you might see it late at night when the last trains are coming and going.
