tylers grandparents were so sweet. They remind me so much of my sweet midwestern grand parents from Iowa who passed away a few years ago. Just like tyler's grandfather my grandfather grew up on a farm and did art in his free time. He also cared for delicate things like petrified wood and small porcelain trinkets. Seeing their property made me wish I could go back to my grandparents property one more time and lie in the grass and listen to the peaceful quietness of the rural midwest. Thank you :)

Tyler's grandpa reminded me a little of my own grandpa who passed away last year. He used to paint with watercolours and recently while sorting through his things we found a watercolour pad in which only the first page had been used, an unfinished painting of a seaside landscape by my grandpa.

I recently came back from studying abroad in Spain and since then have been struggling to adjust to my new normal. Ive been stuck on this negative way of thinking because i miss my life from before. But im inspired to try and be observant of the things i do love in this present time so it won't just fade away into a distant memory. The difference is that my memories abroad are all wonderful so im trying not to ruin these ones. hey!!! there is an easier way to put the blanket cover thing onto the blanket! you turn it inside out, then put your arms inside and grad the two corners at the back. then you grad two of the corners of the blanket while still holding the cover from inside, so each corner of the cover corresponds to one on your blanket. then you just shake it out until the cover turns inside out and goes over the blanket...i hope that was helpful ahahah idk how to explain, but im sure you can google it!

It’s finally getting to that cool crisp weather in the fall that I love the most. My favorite little moment this fall so far is having that cool breeze move in my room with my hairless cat who loves his turtle necks in the cooler weather while we snuggle up and watch nature documentaries....he always paws at the scenes with the birds which makes me laugh a ton
