I know it's a small detail, but having seen this go so wrong in other games with fixed cameras, I'm stunned that they CLEARLY MARKED ON THE FLOOR WHERE THE PENDULUMS SWING. Peak game design.

I'm honestly shocked by how authentic this game looks, so many indie horror titles put a VHS filter over rough graphics for that "vintage" feel that always looks so fake. Seeing a game that could actually run on PS1 is so cool.

this is the perfect example of how to do 'bad' (unprofessional) voice acting. it's super cute and really fits the atmosphere of the game rather than taking you out of it. imo daymare: 1998 is a perfect example of the polar opposite lol.

Just played through this on Switch , omg it was amazing. I had never heard of it. Tried demo after 5mins I bought it. It creeped me out in many places little details. Like killing all the enemies in all the unlocked rooms then being at the top of the stairs and seeing someone walk by down like 3 flights of stairs. I beat it with the tank controls before even checking the settings to see that it had modern controls. Will be playing this again

The thing which frustrates me about this game is the fact that it punishes players, for saving by charging a currency, and therefore, discourages, exploration and risky behavior due to the amount of backtracking, you would need to do from not being able to save often.

The guy who made this game should be in charge of indie horror. He made it his own and made the game feel unique and actually a game from the 90s 😮 other games you can see they tried to give off that vibe but like you said its too forced but with the Alisa they understooof the assignment and pulled it off and executed it to perfection. Trust me i know i am a indie horror fanatic

Alisa looks like the type of game where the second game sucks but the third game would be the underrated/best survival horror game but would get over shadow by other games then there would be a forth game but it gets canceled then 10 years later it gets a reboot but it sucks.

I know it’s intentional, but oof…that voice acting is so bad. I don’t find it to be charming at all. It feels very try hard and it’s unbearable for me to listen to. Especially Alisa’s voice. Seems like a cool game, but I’d have to play it with the sound off and that would be a disservice to the rest of the audio in the game, which seems to be much better; especially the music.
