The Highlands of Iceland are amazing. In this video I camp in the highlands with my good friends Thor, Thomas, Norm, Sean and Peter and adventure through the highlands and capture some of my favorite images I have ever captured in the land of Fire and Ice!

That rift gorge shot at about 0:45 from the drone is the perfect description of Iceland geology. The two plates are actually pulling apart in the middle of the Atlantic - Iceland is an epicentre of land formation as the magma upwells to fill in the gap. Spectacular.

That has to be some of the most primal, beautiful landscape on the planet. Beautiful panoramas that really give a sense of the expansiveness there, that place is just insane. Looks like another planet. Thanks for sharing this amazing trip with us!!

So nicely done, Nick! Video, music, drone, and ground shots are all amazing. Iceland is such the photographer's playground. Those are some of the nicest "midday" photos that I've seen. The dappled lighting was unbelievable. I also love that you were routinely driving through streams just to get around. As usual, your edits make the drama of the lighting pop.
