oh man I just did this also for my wheels this weekend. fun stuff! Heat, cold bearings, and double checking as you hit the bearing in is key. Of course i only have one bike to do this.

Nice work! It's pretty quick and easy to do them. I'll be putting kits together and selling bearings and the seals and etc...that way you will know the type of bearing you are getting vs Pivot Works or All Balls etc.

Blind hole bearing puller is what your after for this job.

You could but there is NO NEED really as it's not blind as you can punch it from the other side

Why so soon? Are they just putting junk bearings in the new bikes? I've seen a few videos of All Balls failing after a few years. The bearings in old Jap bikes last for decades. Ride safe my 2 wheel friends.

I have like 3,000 miles on the old gal in boulder fields...it's just the nature of slamming into boulders and riding the terrain we ride.
