Truly incredible, totally amazing! Yes, María Dueñas is about 13 years old, and playing at the highest level in the whole world. It is very underappreciated how a soloist virtuoso musician can retain in her mind, and entire symphonic work, in impeccable detail, never miss a note and play the whole piece from memory (while the orchestra reads their sheet music!). And then, for someone so young? We mere mortals cannot comprehend.

She's a prodigy. That said, her sound hasn't matured yet in this piece. Fast forward a few years and her sound is impeccable. Seriously, listen to a her newer videos. It's incredible. This was good, but she's even better now.

To be honest i do not properly know how to appreciate classical music. i have only in the last 5 or 6 years begun to listen to it. But i clearly understand what you are saying. Even though i might not like or understand the music she plays i cannot for one moment take my eyes off her performances. She is like a pure magical, musical force of nature and she truly leaves me in stunned awe every time watch her. i have never seen any other musician with her unique kind of energy.

Soberbia, virtuosa, brillante y nacida para tocar el violín. Plena concentración, pasión y disfrute en la ejecución. En ciertos instantes se inclina sobre el violín para sentirlo y parece comunicarse con él, algo impropio para su edad y que denota una sensibilidad musical al alcance de muy pocos. Per un'interprete così giovane di Vivaldi , non ci sono parole per descrivere la bravura , la tecnica e la sensibilità dell'interpretazione. Accompagnata da un'orchestra molto musicale , la solista raggiunge livelli molto alti di musicalità : insomma un grande Vivaldi e una grande Interprete.

Antonio Vivaldi is an Italian composer and he called this piece L'ESTATE and not 'el verano' ...when an artist plays Spanish music we write the title in Spanish, right ? So do use the original name !
