Thanks! You should know this was not recorded real-time. I recorded it at slower speed and then re-edited. You'd have to be an insanely technically super lead player to get that clarity playing that lick. I could never do it at ful speed :D

hey thanks for the comment :D I was actually considering deleting this version and the old Metal Machine version. Do check out my 2020 version of the remakes. I remixed both tracks last year and released them together with the Space Ninja track and gave them fresh new videos. It's not radically different but it's better :D

@@ArcadeMusicTribute dude please DO NOT remove any of your masterpieces. Studying of artists' artworks gives better understanding of artist itself and certainly changes how his work if being experienced. If you are looking for new challenges- don't fix what isn't broken and take a look at Flashback or Pinball dreams/fantasies series. Yes i know that D4xx did some, but i do enjoy both of you work equally, as seeing the same masterpiece from different angles gives me as a viewer totally new way of seeing details;) This also applies to music. At the end of the day you'll do what you want to do, but please be aware that releases like this are also enjoyed :)

I've never played Lotus 3., but I like this track. I'm not sure whether it reminds me of 1980s TV series opening themes, or ClouxCloux's metal covers of said opening themes. It does have a 1980s vibe, though.

No game by DICE and EPIC really needs a music remake since they all used MOD/S3M music (tracker format) which were so awesome back then already compared to FM synth and midi most other game devs used (some exception may be Rainbow Arts since Chris Hülsbeck was a genius and did amazing SID/FM and digitized stuff for the PC speaker even). DICE and EPIC were built by people from the demoscene so they knew their shit ;) MOD/S3M/IT/XM/etc. music was very popular in the demo/BBS scene.
