Love your videos bro.❤️. About 6 months ago, I suffered crippling panic attacks, feeling like I was going to faint every day, but you've changed my life. ❤️❤️ And now today, if life seems dull, I ALWAYS look forward and have a purpose going to sleep.. I just need that closure.❤️. I hope you, Timmy and Rebecca are living your absolute best lives!💪 ❤️

I've been a library assistant for a decade now, working in a library that is a converted manor house and has been in existence since 1894. The owner left it to the town in his will specifically to be used as a library (we have a framed copy of his will) and he also left several thousand dollars to purchase books. I sometimes wonder what this man would think of how the library - and technology - has changed since 1894!

I spend up to 3 hours in ny local library just enjoying the quiet to r ead and the chance to people watch. I've been going there for over 30 years so everyone knows me. It's such a blessing to me throughout times of trouble in my life. I'd live there if it were possible.

I would like just truly express my gratitude for the story you shared tonight. My mother, who passed away in 2022, was my best friend. Growing up, we used to spend time together every weekend visiting Barnes and Noble or our local city library. She would immerse herself in the mystery and crime fiction section, while I would lose myself in the teen fiction section for hours until it was time for dinner. Those were wonderful times before she fell ill with ovarian cancer and underwent chemotherapy. Your story reminded me of those special moments, and I thank you so much for that. I miss my mom terribly, and I hope she visits me in my dreams tonight and joins me in this library you created for us! #cancersucks ❤❤❤

Thank you, Stephen. Thank you for grounding me, for helping me to let go for a bit from the pain of loss, for the feeling of being safe. For making my cats purr (yes, they are listening too ❤️🙂). And to answer your thought…. my favourite library was a small bookshelf in my great grandmother’s kitchen. There was a wood stove, it was warm and cozy in winter, her apron was big and soft and she held me and quietly read from one of the books that were in that shelf especially for me. I was maybe 4 or 5 years old and still remember the kettle that was quietly humming, the calming sounds of the fire and her heartbeat. It was magical. ❤️ Much love from Nova Scotia, Canada

I started listening to a different story nearly every night for quite a few months now. One of the best parts about them is the differing guided relaxation in the start. Definitely helps keep my neurospicy brain engaged enough to stop/reduce the anxious thoughts so I can let them just flow (something that I've done for years that is the most effective) that has become a lot easier or completely crash before I even think I get past this part thanks to these stories. I don't think I have ever had so many consecutive nights where I have fallen asleep so fast in as long as I can remember.

Dear Stephen, I have listened to your sleep stories almost every night for the last 8 or 9 months… forgive me, I lose track of time these days. Your voice is so calming and sincere. You mesmerize me , even in the relaxation session! I have rarely managed to listen to a whole story, actually, sometimes most of the story! So, I have to listen to each one 2 or 3 times! However, this one about the Elven Library, has defeated me!!! I have listened to it 7 times in a row and I still haven’t heard the story!! I am fast asleep by the time we reach the castle! So, guess what? I will be trying again tonight! I love the way you begin every night with, “Hello my friend “. I am instantly relaxed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your genuine, caring soul. If I could stay awake, I too would like more library stories, perhaps about the one in Timbuktu. You are so loved by so many. ❤

Yes, I love libraries too. 🙂 The quiet, seeing everyone doing what they came for and the BOOKS of course. 🤓 Soooo many to look at, choose from and get lost in the different stories. ☺️ Always a great place to visit. I actually enjoy my local library to be honest. 😊 It's near me in a building from the 70's or 80's. There is a nice children's and teens section, a little inner courtyard with comfy chairs, a section where you can copy and work, make yourself something to drink and the adult section where I can spend quite some time. 🤭 I feel better after a visit there regardless if I lend a book or not. 🤗 A wonderful story to fall asleep 🩶to, with gratitide Stephen. 🙏🏽

You asked for suggestions for libraries. I have one, though it doesn’t have the kind of depth and imagination of this story. If you watch a video about it you will see that it has incredible rooms and spaces and it’s absolutely beautiful. On the top floor is Rose Reading Room, a magnificent big space with a very high ceiling that is beautifully furnished, with wonderful paintings on the ceiling. It’s very special, a kind of building that they don’t make any more.
