I’ve been struggling to just focus, to not get distracted by the little things in life that make my mind overthink.. And I’ve been just making sure I get into God’s Word every morning to realign me to focus on the Lord and His kingdom. And if I don’t, I get so lost and uneasy without getting into God’s Word before getting my day started, it’s my daily medicine. It’s so easy to get caught up in things of this world bc it’s easy. The challenge is to get in the habit of focusing on Gods love, goodness and find our identity in Him. I’ve been learning how to properly and respectfully get into God’s presence whenever I pray and read His Word and it’s helped me a lot. I recently stopped drinking alcohol completely and it’s hard but I want to be so focused on Jesus that surrendering anything and everything He asks me to, I’ll be ready to. Thank you for these 1on1 videos, very timely. God bless you on your journey with Him 🙏🏼

I have been experiencing this. Dreams about family, friends and community. This is the enemy's goal and is an attack on the way you think. The enemy's plan is to use dreams suggestions and subtle tricks to influence and arouse. Direct energy and frequencies from cell towers are being used to get to us and it is effecting brain chemistry. This is changing the state of consciousness, emotion, memory and thoughts to a lower vibration/frequency. This is psychological manipulation and experimentation. I have been experiencing heat in the head, front and side and eye flashes and floaters. The enemy's job is to try to get you to stop, but you have to keep going.

also this was such a nice reminder for me to look into why i’m wanting the things i desire. after journaling & praying on it i know that a lot of it comes from wanting to prove myself as worthy and valuable. but i know that God’s view of me is unchanging & he values me no matter my income, my success, my relationship status. he just wants me to be good and do good. it’s really so simple & i needed that reminder. so thank you

wow Phil thank you so much for sharing, everything you said is so true and relatable - once i really committed to giving my life to God I feel like the spiritual warfare has really been trying me in a way i never anticipated, i also relate to having dreams about my parents that do not bring me peace some days, but other days I'm overflowed with peace and joy and understanding ✨ i think thats why it's so important to understand that surrendering to God is a DAILY act because its sooo easy for our heart posture to slip back into our fleshly desires, it's gonna take a while to reprogram but I'm believing the journey is worth it! thank you for always sharing and being an example for us in our 20s (and beyond) that it's okay to be deeply rooted in our spiritual lives even when majority of ppl our age are on a totally different frequency - God needs us!!

Thank you, Phil for another refreshing & uplifting post. In the spirit of (Proverbs 11:25), I hope to uplift you back. When you have some time, an encouraging scripture on speaking is in Exodus 4:11-17. Moses was fearful about speaking( not saying you are) but God told him he would give him the words to say. Just some encouragement to trust that God will give you the words! ( he already has! 🙏🏾✨) I agree about the phone being an idle as well, I think being in isolation/ alone a lot, it can become very easy to self soothe this way. At times, I feel less alone on my phone or more alone, depending on the day. But, I do want to be a woman after God’s own heart again. (aka Davida!😂) I’ve been insanely distracted by all the things that don’t truly matter & it’s so easy to forget they don’t matter once you take your eyes off Jesus. So; thank you for the reminder to get back on track& to walk boldly and confidently in what God has called me to do. I’m reminded my life has purpose, no matter how purposeless it can feel at times. This is so true.. God has been dealing with me waking up in the morning to commune with him. He wakes me up between 2:45am, 4:40 am and 5:54am.. When God is ready, to shift you into position your mind starts to shift as well. Those sleepless nights will get better. I am a witness. Before you go to bed. Pray and ask God for a hedge of protection around your bed, and in your home. Invite him into your home. Also, ask the Holy Spirit to be with you in your dreams as well. Hope this helps.

I understand you because I’ve been on a similar journey. I’m constantly, and I mean constantly, asking Him to give me a clean heart, take away this stony heart! He said to ask in Faith believing! I don’t want nothing us but Jesus. I want the character of Jesus, His mind, His eyes, His everything. I’m sick of ME, sick of the flesh!
