Here is the guitar solo from “A Man I’ll Never Be” by Boston. This is a lesser known Boston song, but it is probably my favorite one. I was beyond amazed when I first heard this guitar solo by Tom Scholz. Fun fact: this guitar solo made my dad decide to buy his first electric guitar before I was born, and his goal was to learn this solo. He has yet to learn it, but at least he can watch me play it! 🎵🎶🎸
Guitar: PRS SE Standard 24 Electric Guitar (Translucent Blue)
I have always been intrigued by PRS guitars. One of the main reasons is probably because Alex Lifeson used them to a great extent while he was in Rush. When I saw this affordable PRS guitar, I decided that it would be fun to own one. I bought this in September of 2020. I really like the blue finish with the cream binding. The bird inlays are a really nice feature of PRS guitars. Also, I always enjoy having access to 24 frets just to give me that extra room to solo if I want to use those highest notes. And I appreciate how it is easier to change strings on this vibrato system since it is not a Floyd Rose!
