As a Bengal Fan here is my wish list for the Bengals. The Jefferson trade rumor is silly. Ex TE Eifert's comment was meant as a joke. OK so here is the Bengal scenario. Bengals trade Higgins before the draft for a late 1st RD pick with a deep WR group available. Georgia TE Brock Powers drops to the Bengals at 18th. Bengals then select a WR late in 1st RD with the Higgins pick. Bengals would then have a young WR on a rookie contract teamed with Chase along with Powers using the option of 2 TE sets with Mike Gesicki & Powers. With the DE Tackle Sheldon Rankins signed from Houston. In 2nd RD Bengals draft an Off Tackle. Plus you have Zack Moss and Chase Brown at RB and a healthy Joe Burrow. That's a very diverse offense with a huge upgrade at TE and maybe they get lucky hitting on the WR.

If I were to make a prediction on what the Bengals will do, they trade Higgins for a 1st and sign Mike Williams a 2 year deal with a team option(basically a 1 and 1 year option.) to replace Higgins as a big body red zone target. Williams has always been a health concern, but can replace Higgins production if healthy. They would probably want to send Higgins to the NFC, so I’m thinking Giants, Panthers(probably wouldn’t spend the money.), Atlanta, or Chicago.

Then in 2023 the Bengals started slow before killing Arizona, beating the Seahawks, going to San Fran winning 31-17 then hosting Buffalo up 24-10 until Buf scored late making it 24-18. Cindy won 4 in a row and was rolling then Burrow got hurt.

Higgins has bad hamstrings . He won't play more than 9 games this year IMHO

Keep in mind though the Kansas City chiefs have the best QB since Tom Brady. When your QB is the best player on the field you don’t need top talent receivers.
