The Buc-ee's in my area (San Antonio, TX) also have lights above each toilet stall near the ceiling, and they are green when the toilet is vacant, and turn red once someone is in the stall. It's amazing, so you just look for one with a green light, since there are so many, and you can see it from across the massive room.

This makes me so happy! I live 10 minutes from Buc-ee's and every time I go there, I think of all the snacks y'all need to try! When you come to Texas, you'll definitely have to get the chocolate covered pecans and pulled pork sandwiches. They're my absolute favorite treats from Buc-ee's. On the topic of gas prices, because the U.S. and particularly Texas has so many oil refineries, we don't have to import as much gas, making it much cheaper for us. I laughed when you said Texas seemed very deserty. Texas is so large we actually have over 10 different climate regions. The only area that's considered desert is West Texas!

I live in the south and for travel destination recommendations I would definitely say Savannah, Georgia ( it’s beautiful and extreme southern hospitality ) Destin, Florida has the most beautiful beach with crystal clear water , and my number one pick is Colonial Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia because there are so many, many things to see and do! You can learn the history of the first colonies of the US, go to Yorktown which is an historic battlefield, go to Jamestown which was where the first settlers were, go to Bush Gardens which is a great amusement park and take a tour of the the Budweiser beer factory and see the amazing Budweiser Clydesdales . It’s so much fun and you will learn a lot if history about the United States and the revolution.

Every time I see you take a drink of water after eating something spicy, Kate, I yell at my phone “don’t do it!” The oils from peppers is what makes it spicy - water only spreads the burn! Hi Kate & Alex! Just remember when planning your trip to Texas, we are a HUGE state and one can drive literally all day, and not make it out! Dallas & Fort Worth are a must, though I know you've been here. In the DFW metro-area, you must visit Grapevine, which borders DFW Airport. Our State Capital city is Austin (about 2.5 hours drive south of DFW) and I think you would love the MUSIC and art it offers. San Antonio (home of the Alamo.. history there) is nice with amazing Mexican food. Hill Country/Big Bend.. have a look for hiking and lovely scenery. Long time fan here, and so fun watching yours and Alex's success! ❤🇨🇱

Gas in Texas is much cheaper because they drill for gasoline right there, we are in California and the other day my husband filled up our truck, 25 gallons and it cose close to $100 and we expect the prices to go up because of the Summer Tourist season. Pepper jellies are all somewhat the same but a little different depending on the peppers used and the company that makes them, thanks to the two of you I went online and ordered 6 or 7 of the Pepper Lane Jellies and my daughter invaded my stash and took some home, so I haven't tasted them all but we're hoping to do a small trip to Utah and in a few months so we might need to make a side trip. There's lots of historical stuff as well (Chalmette Battlefield from the War of 1812, the National WW2 Museum, etc) if you're into that stuff. If you go to Tennessee, I remember loving Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (summer vacation as a kid). Gatlinburg is right outside the Smokey Mountain National Park and there are some awesome hiking trails and waterfalls. About 2hrs from Gatlinburg is Asheville, North Carolina which is neat as well. If you're in Florida, I love St. Augustine (it's the oldest city in the US founded by the Spanish in 1565). We don't have bucky's we're I live, but we do have large truck stop gas stations such as "Flying J" on major interstate highways. Because the US is so large, our semi truck drivers can often be away from home for weeks at a time while they are driving cross country to deliver goods. The large truck stop gas stations often have a wide variety of items to provide as quick stops for truck drivers. Drivers can also pay to use shower facilities at some stops while on the road as many of them sleep in the back cab of their trucks and don't stay in hotels.

@@ThisWithThem Just remember if you ever get the chance to visit Texas either come in late spring or early fall time. Weather wise that is, unless you like it when it’s really hot and humid. 😎😅

Hugh-ston. You had it right. If you end up traveling to Houston or San Antonio, you'll enjoy HEB grocery stores as well. My avatar is "Buddy" who was born during hurricane Harvey as a wild dog. He wandered into our neighborhood and we became his family. I live in Houston as well and we have some of the lowest gas prices in the US (we have refineries and oil wells here)

We loved everything we have tried from HEB so far! Can't wait to go and see the store in person!! Oh wow! That's awesome you have some of the lowest gas prices!

@@ThisWithThem If you travel to Houston, please consider visiting the Space Center down town. They have an entire Saturn V rocket on it's side INDOORS and other NASA exhibits. Might be some fun content.

I love sunflower seeds..I must try chocolate covered, the animal crackers and pecans. At the holidays people often make a chocolate pecan pie. Everything looks really good.

I have watched reviews from people that the sole purpose was a trip to Buc-ee's and spend the entire day starting with breakfast through dinner trying all of the foods that they make on site; as well as showing the prices of the food and merchandise offered there. Well worth checking out "Reviews of Buc-ee's" posted by soooo many reviewers. Some are better than others, but you can experience a visit to Buc-ee's virtually this way.

So cool! Will definitely check them out! Thanks Kendall

They are around the south now. Here in Florida we have I believe 3 stations. The closest to me is Daytona Beach a little more than an hour away.

I really liked this box and especially enjoyed the photos since I'll probably never get to visit a Buc-ee's (unfortunately). They look awesome. Forget visiting TX,I would go just to visit that Buc-ee's LOL! You all should come to Louisiana! New Orleans is famous for it's music and it's food/drinks. Shoot, the French Quarter and Bourbon Street is enough just to make a 24 hr blog by itself! LOL! You could also do some haunted places or cemetery tours while in Louisiana too. Myrtles Plantation is one of the most haunted places in America (supposedly). Food, music and scares...what more can you ask for?!? :-)

Hello from Alabama! Loved seeing all the Buc’cees treats. We recently had a Buc’cees open in Leeds, AL about 45 minutes from me.I haven’t had a chance to check it out yet but I am excited to do so. Thank you both for the wonderful videos. I’ve been watching for a while and love y’all! ❤️☺️

When you are visiting the south in the U.S., since you appreciate great food, you must include New Orleans in Louisiana. Truly delicious cajun cooking and a really fun city.

We don't have Buckee's here in California but I'd like to try it. Popcornopolis is from here, I like the Zebra. I once heard, a pronunciation explanation from a Southernerer, that a Peecan is what you put under the bed at night and a pecan is what you eat.
