Try a spawning mop in with your Panda Cory's. It has been working for me. The loaches will likely snack on the eggs, though 😉😊

I've seen them spawning, alot, but never thought any of the eggs would survive. It was a happy surprise to see a little guy hanging out with the school! 👏🥰

I am curious if any of you have tried the tank top netting solution for reef tanks on a freshwater tank. I am surprised that I have never seen the nets used on freshwater tanks instead of the solid glass or plastic tank covers.

I have to actually cover the tanks. Now that its getting cold out and the room is warm, id have way too much evaporation/humidity.

Its always awesome when things are breeding. I'm setting up a breeding rack with 7 tanks and I'm definitely gonna be trying to breed some corydoras they are so awesome. congrats on actually having success with panda the corys!!

Today we woke up to about 500 Bronze Cory eggs. Hopefully we will get some Albino's as we saw our "Big Mama" Albino laying eggs and our Male "Pinky was right behind her. Our biggest problem is space. Right now I have a 20L that I am using as a raise up tank but it has about 100 Snakeskin Guppy fry in it (and 5 more pregnant females about ready to birth) so I don't know where I can stick the Cory fry except that tank. We use Hikari "First Bites" initially then go to frozen baby brine. I'll have to try the "Golden Pearls" next time I need fry food. Been looking for the Black Venezuelan Corys. Let us know when yours are ready.

Id like to try breeding apistos at some point but I have really hard water, is there any types of apistos or maybe a similar dwarf cichlid that would do well?

Mine have been outside all year. So they can tolerate quite a range in temps. Inside I keep them around 72.

No. Unfortunately I shipped her off to a breeder to try and get some eggs. I never got her back.

Negative. They actually keep the eggs clean.
