The goal of todays stream is to have some fun and dig into the games various experiences to see if it is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits and that my grand plan as a master strategist of using british WW1 tactics is overpowered and will allow us to win WW2! For reference THIS IS A PAID STREAM, I have played the previous men of war games on steam and regularly enjoy WW2 RTS games so this is my usual cup of tea when it comes to gaming. I hope my adventures in the game will help you work out if it is your kinda jam.

All sides tactics tbh. Even Russian. Russia has always used it's vast numbers to grind the enemy down. WW1: 1,451,000 WW2: 27,000,000 Russia has always entertained the meat grinder

Ah, WW1 Tactics, A brilliant plan. I assume this plan involves climbing out of the trenches and walking towards the enemy very slowly around 19 times. And then winning by doing exactly the same thing you did 18 times before because they'll never expect you to do the same thing again this time.

This game actually proved why WW1 tactics ceased after that conflict. The western front originally devolved into static lines of trenches with both sides lobbing stationary artillery at each other. In Spiff’s second game, he “establishes” a static line with stationary artillery and the Germans counter attack with mobile artillery, or the self propelled gun known as the Wespe. After being blown off the hill, Spiff comandeers an abandoned Hanomag and proceeds to mobily cut down German infantry in the woods. That is most certainly NOT a WW1 tactic. Kudos for trying Spiff, but this challenge was a fail for you at least as you originally intended.

Artillery is overpowered wow! The ai should start counter shelling or maybe sending aircrafts when you are just holding your forces back and bombarding them without even seeing them. A bit to easy to guess where they are without them retaliating

interestingly concerning "heavy attack bombers, not acceptable", if you want WW1 tactics russia is the best country for that since they used the Ilya Muromets, which were pre WW1 arliners converted to be heavy bombers
