I absolutely love the Shiseido cleanser. I use the white lucent one, but I imagine all of them are so terrific. It's just the right amount of foam that I've never gotten with any other cleaners. I enjoyed this so much. You are so beautiful, Tammy. Just one of the most beautiful women I've seen in a long time. Loved this! xoxox, Melissa

Tammy, as you remember, I had serious skin problems and finally was able to see a dermatologist. (It took 4 months to get into one here!) She recommended that I use my whole nighttime skincare routine and after I moisturize, to use my Retin A. She stressed with the peeling I had that us, older gals (over 30) need to use Retin A. She told me to bump it up to 2 times a week and then move up to 3. I haven't had any problems for over 2 months and my skin is really improving. Peeling not so much. I do many of the steps you do at night but am going to add that Raw Sauce. You look so great, I just love the earrings and top. Thanks for such an in depth presentation. You are the guru for many of us, just love watching you!

Not only do I consider everything you are talking about, I act on it! I have left you comments before saying I have showed your videos to my mom who is younger than you are but you look SO MUCH younger than her!! I also introduced masking to my brother after finding your videos and we both said we wished we had your influence growing up. Your skin looks absolutely incredible and I find myself taking notes every single time I watch one of your videos!!

Skin care has always been a love for me. I can say I have been obsessed with it since I was a young girl. I always loved cleansing/treating my skin at night (and day) and I really began to do so at about age 14. I am now 45 ... I have spent a lot of money on product over the years. I am really now just starting to notice some changes and I do not care for it, frankly! Oh my gosh, I don't want to age! I have been using the La Mer cream and I got the lip treatment because of you! I do love it and it lasts! I very much have wanted to incorporate a retin A but my skin will just not tolerate it. I have purchased a retinol product as you suggested and I will approach this slowly. I could talk about skincare until the cows come home. I have tried so many different products and I don't stick with one product line. Right now, I feel in limbo with my "perfect" routine. I see my neck beginning to age a bit and I really don't like that! You are absolutely beautiful and you have such an elegance about you. You inspire me. I feel like you really put your best foot forward at all times and that makes me want to do it everyday! For myself!! Another obsession for me is perfume. I also love the classic Burberry and have used it for years! But just recently got a new bottle. Oh it is delightful! But my collection is somewhere around 200 bottles!!! I love being a woman!!!! Thank you for your incredible videos. They make me so happy!

Hi, Tammy. This video is heaven sent. I'm right now doing my nighttime routine and one of the products I've been using since many years ago is the Retin A, in a mild strength (0.025%) and so far it's never irritated my skin or had any peeling. But I was just thinking, at the same time that you were talking, that maybe I should start alternating days using it, because my skin with age is getting more and more dry. And there you were, reading my mind! So I didn't use the Retin A tonight, will use it tomorrow night, and continue with the rest of my routine as it is now, adjusting it according to the changes that I notice. Thank you for all your hard work and investigations in our behalf. Love and blessings, 😍😍

Aloha Tammy! Two great and inspiring videos...thanks so much! Yes, skin care is even more important the older I get. My skin shouts daily, "Help, I've fallen and can't get up!" LOL I do use Retin A every night without ill-effect, only positive, except I never place it too close to the lower corners around my nose, or the corners of my mouth (little sores appear that take forever to heal). I do use it around my eyes with no problem. I love the using my Clarisonic every night, a good moisturizer, and some vitamin e around my eyes, mouth, and spaces that might be calling for it. I'm also using a nightly mask before I put any of the above products on. My skin is definitely much happier and getting more and more clear and translucent. Not a day goes by when I don't get a compliment on my skin. I've been on this regimen for about 8 months and looking forward to more and more benefits. Thanks again...I've learned so much from you! Malama pono... :)))

I have just in the past year started with my skincare. Was never proactive with it. And, while I never intentionally tanned , I also didn't for years, use sunscreens until just the past few years. I am 45 now. And last year it hit me like a ton of bricks that my skin has changed on me. The texture, the dryness, the Lines especially and the eyes are getting the wrinkly papery look and feeling. I panicked. That's how I discovered all you beautiful ladies of KZbin. I don't have the money to go out and buy a lot of products at once but I watch you and Angie and Nisha and some others religiously now and research the products y'all talk about and decided what I want. So Once or twice a month I am able to buy more high end products to put into my routines. And, I am on Retin A. I've had to train my skin to it also and buffer it with products. I believe your skincare collection is My holy grail wish list. And your mask collection is to die for. And you 3 top YT anti aging ladies have so much knowledge, it's really unbelievable. What one doesn't know the other does. And your friend you talk about all the time. Get the 4 of you together and it would be an unstoppable collab. I have been watching you for awhile and I've binge watched all your older vids. From what I can tell by videos, I agree with you about your skin improvement. Especially lately, you just seem to have taken about 15 to 20 years off. Angie and Nisha have also. Thats why I follow y'all. You are doing something right because the proof is shown on your faces. I only follow people that are real. I don't care how much you pay for your products or if they where given to you or how much you are paid for doing this. If I can see or tell you know what your talking about then I think you have something worth listening to. I also follow some that do bargain type things and I appreciate that also. I believe if I can get bargains for some things that are good quality then I can take that money I saved to spend on good skincare. So, on some makeup-eye shadows and other color, liner products I will use cheaper, if it works. The same with lip, and face products. Like blushes, brushes, highlighters, contours, and bronzers. I do like better foundations and concealers though when I can afford it. Anyway, you and the others have helped me tremendously in developing a skincare routine and I always know that if I need to know something about skincare and beauty in general, I can always go to one of you for a good, knowledgeable, well informed, answer. And I bet, if I asked and you didn't know something that you could and would find out and get back in a short amount of time with the answer. Thank you to the 3 Queens of KZbin. muah, XOXOXO.

+kim mcdonald Hi Kim, I totally agree, it has been more or less two years I have started to follow Tammy and Angie and here and there some others and I have learned SO MUCH! I am so grateful for all this direct and real info and it truly shows on them I love how Tammy (and Angie) takes the time to explain things so precisely. I also need to save up and am always on the hunt for a sale with my list of skin products :-)) My skin is getting better and better! I agree with what Tammy often says about consistency being more important than this or that product itself. And taking care of the inside. Who is Nisha? is that her channel name? all the best :-)

Love your videos Tammy! I too have tried lash enhancing products, ranging from drugstore to high end. Some would work for a while, but, I found my lashes would break off and leave gaps. I gave up using them. I was shopping recently in Nordstrom, and the SA had the most gorgeous lashes. She said that she used to work at the Chantecaille counter, and highly recommended the Faux Cils Longest Lash mascara. It's a mascara with lash enhancing ingredients built in. I was skeptical, given that it is very expensive, but decided to try it. I have been using it for 2 weeks, and have seen a huge improvement, as my lashes are now longer and thicker! I'm a convert!! I was told to use this mascara consistently for a few months, and then you only need to use it 2-3 times per week to maintain the lash growth. It's very pricey, but I plan to buy it again at Nordstrom when they have their buy 2, get 1 free mascara event (twice a year in May and November). Also, my Sephora order of the May Coop is on the way!

Thanks CMT! So glad you mentioned the peeling around the eyes. I thought I was crazy. No matter how I try to avoid using the tretinoin close to the eye area, I end up peeling. I must be a good candidate for retinol because the SR Luna oil is just enough for my normal/oily skin. I also use the Peter Thomas Roth Retinol Fusion PM, but if I use it more than 2x a week my eyes get very dry & then I get teary. And I don't apply anywhere NEAR my eyes, so I imagine if I used Retin-A my eyeballs would shrink like raisins! :)) Love all your products. The night routine is my favorite time for pampering. I'm going to try the Darphin balm. As a lifelong oily skin gal, I'm surprised that I can tolerate balms at all, but they feel so good & hydrating on my skin now that I'm using the Clarisonic regular chemical exfoliates. Have a lovey weekend CMT! ~Susanne xoxo

I have really benefitted from your recommendations on skincare. I'm your exact vintage. Getting many compliments! Shisedo foaming cleanser, not moisturizing enough so I'll likely change. Picked up toner called Simple sensitive skin no oil toner from Walgreen. Is very nice! Love my Bioderma makeup remover! Finally, picked up entire line of Hada Labo. Particularly the night mask is great. Invested in Shisedo cotton on your recommendation, love, love, love. But I would have had no clue how to proceed had I not found you. Still need to add in some serums and masks but I'm starting carefully. If you have feedback, I'm listening. Very pleased so far. Additional moisture would be first tweak. Thanks so much. Tried the color works shampoo? Nice but I have a few that remain my faves. Shu Umera, Kerestase, Purology, and enjoy

My nightime: Marcelle eye makeup remover on a Quo Cotton pad (I'm in Canada). Kirkland (or Neutrogena) makeup remover wipes. I shower at night so I alternate between the Cerave with the green on the label as a facewash or twice or three times a week, an exfoliating face wash - currently an Amore Pacific powder that is beautiful! After the shower, I add a toner - currently the Fresh Black Tea which is wonderful. I just bumped up to 0.05% Retin A from 0.025% so I alternate one night Retin A, the other night, some kind of sleeping mask, mask or oil, currently, the Sunday Riley Luna Oil that is blue. I put too much on tonight so it's put that film over my eyes and it's hard to see what I am typing - lol. On a Retin A night, after it soaks in for about half an hour, I add a moisturizer. Currently, the CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion which I think is for the body but whatever, I need to use it up. What I do know about the moisturizer you put on after Retin A, is that it is to be alcohol free - those are hard to find though. A lot of people don't know that Retin A comes as weak as 0.01%. Yes, 0.01%. This might be good for those whose skin is sensitive to Retin A. It seems on KZbin here that most people start at 0.05% but there is 0.01% and 0.025% which are kinder to the skin.

Another great video. I use Retin-A more often because, even at 56 I have extremely oily skin. But a word of warning to those who have had radiation treatment, Retin-A and Retinol products have caused me serious problems when used over irradiated skin. The skin is thinner and more easily damaged, so I can't get near my neck area with the A products. I have had really bad reactions doing that. Any way, just my 2 pence, ymmv. Thank you, Tammy X

I am in my late 40,s but I look so much older; I used to have the most gorgeous peaches and cream skin, like English skin; but years of looking after children and living in Australia with the harsh sun has caused sun damage and wrinkles mostly around my eyes and between my eyes; I think people call them the 11 lines, otherwise it's not too bad... I now use vitamin c serum but I don't have that acid you talk about that is in some vitamin c serums, and I also am now using a very good retinol cream at night; I do hope my skin starts to improve because for someone like me in there late 40,s I think it should look much better... Thank you for your vlog I love listening to you very much as you are so helpful.... Hugs to you again all the way from Australia..

Interesting night routine:) ....very very very important to me. Some of my methods are a bit unconventional even hair brained but they seem to work for me. I had tried the retinol twice a week like you suggested ( i think you said monday and thrusday) but it did not work. I use retinol ( I dont need retin a for all my face I already use it for a scar when it needs it so I find when that happens I do get the benefit of it all over my face). Pretty much any day or night I feel my skin needs it and looks aged... I like vichy and roc right now. I actually apply it on dry skin it is always my very very last step so I can wait hours after cleansing and apply it when face is dry. Also another big thing that I notice which was different in my application and yours is that oil is always after moisturizer but not right away because it should not blend with the mositurizer (most anyways) so I could go to sleep for instance and when I wake up to go to the bathroom I apply the oil on my face. I also recently read NOT to wait more than 60 seconds after a wet face to apply a moisturizer so I do moisturize now when damp. I could go on forever, but those are my main rules that might differ from the rules of others

I definitely never go to bed with makeup on. I don't understand why anyone would want to do that. I just imagine it sitting in my pores being sucked in all night. Not something I want to happen to my skin. One of these days I will try Retin A. In the meantime I'm using the Rose Hip Oil during the day. I have so many products that I use now than ever before. Thanks to you & others I've learned so much more. The one thing I haven't tried is a cleansing oil. I use a cream to remove makeup. First I use the Lancôme Bi-Facil to take off my eye makeup. Then I use a makeup wipe to take off my makeup. I then use my Clarisonic to clean my skin with a Glycolic Acid skin cleanser. Plus I use a bit of Philosophy's Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash. That's so gentle but makes my skin smooth. I have a couple of toners, eye cream, serums & a cream that I use each night. Do you wait long in between products. I've heard others say they wait 30 minutes for each step. I'd be there all night long if I had to do that. I just let each step sink in which doesn't take long. I noticed this year my neck is looking a bit older which I hate. I hate the nasal labial folds & those little pouches the most. Nothing will make those go away. My skin does look & feel better. Thanks for more products to add to my list! Bisous, Lucy

In addition, I. Purchased the Velcro rollers. Have not tried the set. My issue is frizz afterward since I live in tropics. Soo having the set actually stay put will be challenge! Any tips would be helpful.

Skin care is a top priority. I do not have bad skin. It is normal. But I began using Paula's Choice BHA 2% and got immediate results. I did not realize my skin could be brighter. I also use Retinol. I cannot use Retin A. I do love to mask and make that my "me time" to relax. I think my skin looks and feels smoother that it has in years. Some of my coworkers believe I look younger than I did a year ago. I'll take that any day.

Tammy, have you tried the Cosrx Honey sleeping mask or the Paula's choice hydration mask (which can also be used overnight)? They are wonderful for dry skin and even though I'm oily skinned, I get very dry in winter and LOVE them!

Hi Tammy, thank you so much for this very informative video. I learn something from you every video. Again, I thank you. I never considered a sleeping mask. I am definitely going to try the firming sleeping mask. I'll let you know how that goes. Have a great weekend. Much Love, Maria

Tammy, you should try the Biotherm Life Plankton Essence. I find it more moisturizing and nourishing than the May Coop´s Raw Sauce. It contain Hyaluronic Acid and the May Coop does not💎 -xx-

In the PM I use CeraVe hydrating Cleanser for normal to dry skin with my Clarisonic, manually exfoliate with the "Twinkle" razor for the face, followed by Thayers alcohol free cucumber witchhazel as a toner. I then go in with Makeup Artists Choice (MUAC's) "Bell Evolve Lifting Serum" for my eyes on the top and bottom of my eyes. I then move on to MUAC's, "Bell Evolve Gly-Lauronic Miracle Correction Serum" all over my face and neck on the days that I don't use the MUAC's .30 retinol which I use 3 times a week. I then put on the Nadinola Cream with 3% hydroquinone for my hyper pigmentation (which is drugstore), and then the MUAC's TAA Eye Cream all over my eye area. I put on a a Hyalauronic Acid from Timeless Skin Care and lastly put on Dr. Jart's Firming Sleeping mask to hold it all in. I love having this time to relax before I go to bed. I'd love for you to look at the Makeupartistschoice website and read about all the products they offer...I just love all of their products. In the AM I use the Duo Stem Cell Serum after I cleanse and tone along with my eye serum and cream and with the Nadinola for for my hyperpigmentation. I top it off with the Ceramidin by Dr. Jart. My lip lines and crepey undereyes make me crazy, along with my elevens, so at 48, I am trying to work it out! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your research and suggestions...so helpful and encouraging!! Just adore you, Tammy!! ~Pamela

Awesome sharing. I must be in the minority, because I do use Retin-A .01 every night and do not have any peeling whatsoever. That being said, I am seeing texture, firmness and discoloration improvements. I am going to add a sleeping mask afterward and see how my skin likes it. And I have also incorporated drinking hyaluronic acid and collagen, but I think it is too early to see the benefits.

It's not your imagination Tammy, your skin looks much more hydrated-that's my goal as well. So before I scoot off to order the raw sauce and Laneige serum, please consider a video on updated body care and what drink with collagen and hylauronic were you referring to? 💗

I've been using la Roche retinol to get ready but have developed a couple of dry patches on my cheeks! My refissa has arrived but I'm thinking I should wait for those patches to settle back down before I go in with the refissa. Would love to know your thoughts! Thanks for shining your beautiful light over us! Love Kerry xx
