Nice to see you were responsible with the drone... some folks just want the glory shots, no matter what 👌

Nice one Rusty! I've ridden a lot of the trails around Rothiemurchus but haven't ventured onto the Burma Road yet. Fair play to you on your pronunciation rant! I'd spotted your (mis-)pronunciation of 'Lyon' but wouldn't have had a clue how to say 'Daer' myself! I bet most Scots would struggle with a lot of place names in England just as badly. Heck, most Scots wouldn't have a clue if they went up to Aberdeenshire & Moray! So don't worry about it. And, really interesting to learn a little bit about the origins of 'Lyon' as well; just because the word is said one way now doesn't mean that was how it was always said.

It's an amazing ride. My wife and I did it last Saturday on our mountain bikes with glorious sunshine all day and 30C heat. One of our best ever rides and an extrenely enjoyable day.

Nice video. I've had this ride on my list for a while and hoping to get it done before this year's out, probably in much colder conditions! Also going to use my MTB for the sake of having some lower gearing. Don't get hung up with the pronunciation correctors, who cares as long as we know what what you mean!

Great video, my wife and I try to ride this loop at least once a year on our HT MTB, the extra gear for the climb is welcome. Great to see the aerial views from the drone. Looking forward to seeing more of your travels. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Well done Rusty 👍 It's an amazing loop we did it last year and loved it but the initial climb is not for the faint hearted. Looking forward to your next route

Another great video the tracks just look lovely, some ascent fancy doing it but not sure my 60% lung capacity would cope. Still love the Carrbridge to Aviemore but so want to do it on my gravel bike rather than as I did with my road bike and it’s skinny tyres lol.

Great stuff - the addition of the drone is quite something. I had a couple of holidays (with gravel bike) in Boat of Garten last year and never quite squeezed Burma Road in. I opted for the Ryvoan pass instead which I can heartily recommend for the next time you're up there.

Ryvoan Pass is one of my favourite places in Scotland. An Lochan Uaine is an utterly special spot.

Rusty, if you haven't already been there, you might like the ride up to Loch Eanaich to the west of Brariach. Drone footage in there would be outstanding on a good day. The other place to see is the Ryvoan Pass and An Lochan Uaine. Glenfeshie is superb too.

I definitely plan to do more around there so will get some rides in around the spring I reckon. So many places to ride and never enough time! Thanks for the pointers 👍

Also, if you have any idea on how I might pronounce Loch Eanaich that would be great!

Try not to worry on the pronunciation too much. I'm from 250+ years of Scottish stock but in a non-gaelic area so I could make the right sounds but if the spelling isn't my idea of phonetic they'd likely not be in the right places 😆
