The meteor myth didn't even need to be tested - If there is only one block in the world, that would have to be world spawn and meteors can't land near the spawn point. Also even if it could land on spawn, you would still need to try flying off screen at the moment the meteor would generate - You said it was busted without even attempting that.

maybe try meteor one with 2 blocks: one for spawn, and one block a bit further away so it could spawn and not get deleted by spawn and screen destrictions?

If a meter did would you get more blocks or have no blocks

By blocks do you mean meteorite ore, if you do then the amount of the ore will be the usual amount in a normal meteorite crash.
