Hi, what does it mean when there are 2 chords together with a slash.. i. e. D/F# or G/B?

D/F# Would be the D chord with F# for the bass. Basically on a piano play the D Chord in the right hand and F# note with the left hand. Same thing with G/B.

Oh and people usually refer to these chords like this: “D over F#” or “G over B” Oh and all chords can be this way, not just these two.
