If the lions only have physical moves, Wobbufett could consistently use counter (for a while) Pokémon with multi-target attacks could spam those to deal damage to all lions at once Also arceus is literally god
@Vanzolin Жыл бұрын

But what if the lions have Snarl
@canadiangopnik7007 Жыл бұрын
There are 3 potential scenarios; 1. Turn Based 2. Realistic 3. Realistic without bs pokedex entries in the first 2, the Pokemon slaughter effortlessly, for turn based, a handful of fast pokemon with spread moves knock out every lion easily, for pokedex, magcargo, yveltal, gardevoir, arceus, etc... just win, but in the 3rd scenario... the pokemon still win, I present to you... Ferrothorn, a giant mass of living vines and steel, covered in sharp points that stab physical attackers, on top of it's impressive base 131 DEF stat, it naturally learns Iron Defense and Ingrain, the highest a stat can be increased within the confines of the game is 6 stages, each being a +50% increase, meaning a maxed DEF Ferrothorn within the game's limits is hypothetically 4x harder than steel, and constantly regenerates itself thanks to ingrain, while damaging all attackers with it's barbs, I don't think any amount of Lions can bite and scratch their way through that, and that's just one pokemon, there are plenty of others, namely steel types, that just couldn't feasibly be defeated by any number of lions.
@THEGREATPAPYRUS9_5 Жыл бұрын
I have a potential counter argument for this: Body heat. If the lions were to dogpile the Ferrothorn, they could potentially melt it down. And due to it's 4x weakness to fire(and thus, heat itself,) it will make it all the more effective. Now, the likelihood of the lions intentionally doing this is low, but its never Note: The melted iron and combined body heat of that amount of lions may also kill some of the lions as well.
@canadiangopnik7007 Жыл бұрын
@@THEGREATPAPYRUS9_5 There's the option of blasting the Lions off of it with Flash Cannon which is also learned naturally through levelling. Even then, the melting point for steel is (at the very lowest according to google) 1371 celcius, how many lions would be required to create a point of that much heat, completely ignoring the other pokemon that might be trying to save their giga tank, what if some other pokemon start using ice and water moves to cool down the pile, or just blast the lions away with whirlwind? and if things get really desperate, they could have a weaker fodder mon use ally swap and sacrifice themselves to save a much stronger mon, then the lions have to start all over again and lose so many more of their numbers, if the lions are smart enough to understand that enough body heat will melt the steel and willing to sacrifice themselves, the Pokemon are at least equally as intelligent and equally as willing to die for the cause.

I'm glad to see someone who agrees with my opinion on this question. If things are gonna be realistic, then the sheer biology of pokemon like Macargo would give them a win. Any pokemon that naturally flies around either due to literally being a bird, ghost, or powerful psychic powers would also have an advantage. There just isn't a solid counter to some pokemon like Macargo in a realistic setting for anything without ranged attacks, and even then, those may not be effective due to the sheer heat.
@alpha4935 Жыл бұрын
I don't think the lions' attacks should count as Pokemon moves because, by that logic, a human walking up to a Steelix and kicking it twice (Double Kick) would deal sixteen times more damage to it than it would to a Crobat, which is absolutely ludicrous. Or like, is getting pecked by a bird Pokemon more painful if you're a martial artist?
@Vanzolin Жыл бұрын
Yes I agree that it is ridiculous. But the lions wouldn't be able to attack ghost pokemon. Meaning that it would be even more unfair
@Gabriel-doodle Жыл бұрын
Malamar would also work because they can just their mind control to protect themselves using the lions. It will be a war of attrition.

The best case scenario for the lions is that all 1 million of them go for Yveltal. If they manage to kill Yveltal, which is highly unlikely, then it will consume all living things and forms a cocoon. This would kill all lion and pokémon, ending in a draw.
@alpha4935 Жыл бұрын
I mean, Yveltal would still be alive in cocoon form, so the Pokemon would still win. And there's also the fact that Xerneas would still be there to counteract at least some of it.
