That's the thing. If a 3D artist does it right it will all look realistic. One of the biggest problems with the teaser was that the textures looked incorrect, they looked too "real" for the game and the object shapes were mostly correct. The problem was that it created an uncanny valley. The animals were nightmare fuel. I suspect they've made adjustments to the renders so even if they're still square you won't even notice the animals overall shape or texture. Nothing will stand out unnaturally except when they want it to. Most movies the backgrounds are CGI and no one can tell because of all the compositing that goes on
