A Mini Soundbar for a Computer? Is It Actually Good?

Mini soundbars are not very common in the market. This was my first time trying out a small form-factor soundbar with a computer and I was pleasantly surprised!

Great review! I just wanted to see if the sound quality was acceptable for casual audio like when I watch youtube or twitch at my computer and don't want to wear my headset I use when I play games, and this review helped me solidify my purchase.

Logitech *USED TO MAKE* soundbars for computers before soundbars existed. I still have mine. Z305. It sounds incredible.

Looks like a nice auxiliary speaker for laptops. I live in my recliner have my laptop on a home made swivel table w/ wireless keyboard in my lap and a 50" HDTV on the wall with a Vizio 5.1 Sound bar, Then to my left about 5' is my 40" HDTV with another Vizio 5.1 Sound bar. So in all I use 3 screens in extend mode to do my editing. When Editing in DaVinci I use the 40" HDTV as the main program monitor. and it doesn't care what speakers the laptop is set to. It only cares what Davinci Audio Perseverance is set to either the it's sound bar the, laptop speakers or the wall mounted vizio sound bar speakers. Vizio does have Bluetooth but every thing is on 15' HDMI cables. I have to watch where I step.

May I suggest that being the whole purpose for the item is to produce sound you mite want to give a sound demo.

If it has TWS function then it can be use for bigger TVs. Just pair two of this babies and you're good to go : ) Does it have TWS function?

This is almost exactly what I am looking for other than the budget / quality. I want something about this size or smaller… must have STEREO… and be battery powered. Mainly for use with a portable projector which has Bluetooth. But I want to spend a bit more and get good quality. Most Bose / JBL speakers (even the sound bar shape) are single mono speakers. So far the best solution I’ve found is something like a pair of Bose soundlink speakers used in stereo. Does anybody know of anything else that’s basically like this product but better?

Does this speaker go to sleep when you step away from your computer for a couple of hours. I use the speaker to give alerts I get on my computer (not from a cell phone). I am looking for a speaker that is wireless that will receive the various alert alarms I set for the day to remind me to turn on systems I control for my church. The current speaker I bought goes to sleep so I miss the sound of the alert even though the alert is blazing on my monitor.

I have a sounder and I have paired it with my Mac but I cannot get sound other than the sound through my Mac desktop. Any thoughts? PS: The sounder remote can pause a KZbin video..lol

Would something like this be good for my setup? I have a Nintendo Switch and a PlayStation 3 plugged into my BenQ 1124 monitor, I use the PS3 for both games and watching Blu-ray and my Logitech Z130 speakers just do not have enough volume for watching movies, they are too quiet on dialogue but during an action sequence is the only time they are about right...I plan on getting Oasis Live at Knebworth on Blu-ray and don't want weak audio that doesn't have enough punch where I have to turn it up full blast to even hear the music without it sounding thin or not being able to hear dialogue in a movie without being on full volume.

Hi Jonah, I want to connect a Soundbar(high-end) which has a hdmi input signal connection from a Fire stick/tv box/game console/blu-ray player and pass through 4k HDR video via hdmi e-arc/arc output(thru the soundbar) to a 4k Monitor which has hdmi 2.0 input, is this connection possible and will the 4k Monitor works and function similar to a TV hdmi e-arc/arc input? I am asking this question to everyone and see if this setup is possible (not connected a PC CPU/Laptop in this scenario), apparently nobody talks about it, please kindly help, thank you.

Bluetooth speakers with lights I recommend dindinmodern cheap sound. And I've been using it for a year and still works fine.

Hi. Can you help me setup my simple KARAOKE? I have a TV with only 1 HDMI & 1 RCA connection. I also have a XIAOMI MI BOX with 1 HDMI. A SOUNDBAR with 2 HDMI, AUX IN & OPTICAL. Lastly a KARAOKE sound mixer with RCA IN, RCA OUT & 2 MIC. I can't maximize the quality of sound if I connect all this devices. What do I need to do or add? Appreciate your inputs. Thanks

Don't get fooled by the name of the company. this is a standard china thing which is sold by many other chinese sellers (found 3 within 5 minutes of searching), which you can find on amazon. Even for the price of $35 or whatever this thing is stupidly bad. my 8 years old sony bluetooth box has a 1000x better sound and solid bass. save your money up for at least double the price or get some headphones, do yourself a favour.

Agreed, in fact for a few dollars more Walmart sells a 16" Onn soundbar that most likely will sound better (especially if you have an optical cable connected to it, you can route the hdmi out from the laptop to the monitor/tv and some of those have an optical out option). I'd recommend for most people if they have the room is to buy the Klipsch multimedia THX they sell at around $89-109 at Walmart or the $99-129 Logitech Z623 THX at Bestbuy, of course to get the lower prices you have to catch the sale but this isn't really that much more money but the sound quality is so much more.
