Great reminder for us to take care of ourselves. The degree to which we take care of, and love ourselves is directly proportional to how much care and love we can give others. And the more love and care we can give others, the better the world can be. So I like to think of taking care of myself as something I do not just for me, but for the whole world. :)

I'm working towards becoming a full time digital nomad. I find that I do tend to easily forget self-care because I'm so determined to create a life of freedom and personal fulfillment. Thank you for continuing to share your wisdom 💜🙏🏾🤗

I feel ya, it's so easy to neglect it. But in the end, it will give you more focus, presence, more creativity and thus more time. As I said, it's an investment that will give back over and over again!!

I couldn't agree more. I started to change my life 3 years ago, first with a healtier eating habbit, second morning exercise habbit, third back to my meditation habbit and so on, not all of it at once. Once one thing turned into a routine, I started the next one. That's why it took 3 years to get where I am now.

Hi Connie! Good to meet you! I was SO BLOWN AWAY when I found out there was a word for someone like me. I was googling to see if there was a word for someone who has a lot of hobbies so I could use it as a hashtag for my channel. (They say to be a successful youtuber you should be a specialist.....I was trying to beat the system......then I found you lol) I had no idea it is an entire personality trait! I cant wait to watch more of your videos so I can learn even more about what this means for my life. Very exciting stuff. I feel like I am about to become my best self. *just finished this video. That really hits home. I've always understood the importance of taking care of myself. I have not for a while and am just getting back into good old habits.(hearing that part about not loving myself enough made me want to have some journal time) More water, honestly did not get food tonight so I could come home and make a salad, and plan on stretching directly after writing this. My question is this, I can have all these good habits but when something stressful in life pops up I find self care is the first thing to go. What is good advice for those times? Again, love your stuff!

Conni, wonderful to see your new videos. I am also in constantly search for a routine as a digital nomad as my mind and physical heatlh is the most valuable asset I have. I also had to go through difficult moments to learn this lesson, it is funny how human beings most of the time just learn after a big pain instead love. Thanks for sharing your video and your tought as everything we do to our self-love habits is also a form of work or long term investment. Life is great, energy is necessary to enjoy everything it has to offer and share.

I really need you Connie, today, thank you. I am tryng hard, I was in the path, and now is like start all over again. I think is against west modern culture, so you (me, you, all in this path) are like outsiders, and when you live in a big west modern city with people in rush all the time, pop culture, instant gratification culture (like you said), its hard to be/feel/sound/even look different. So its a much more hard work to do, at least for me. I feel like you in this, is a everyday work, all the things we do. Sometimes I feel is too much, but I need it. So, this is me, not equal to most of the people, thats what I need to embrace, finally, in my life. I really conect with you, your words, soul, eyes, body, type of life. Thamk you to help me comeback home all over again, and for open the road.(camino) 😊

I do a meditation today and make me feel so much better, I listen him talking too, very interesting and I will love to work more with him. I just started today :) So thank you to present him into my life ! I remeber him from a documentary about health, like alternative health I found a few time ago in Netflix, he was one of the speechers, the other was Gregg Braden, do you know him? I make a meditation from him just now and I find him really deep too... and helpfull. I really like him too. A little bit different, maybe I can work with both and see wich one help me the best. I hope you are doing it ok, and be healthy and happy. Lots of love,Laura.

do you drink alcohol? do you eat sugar and junk food? is there a place for these things? i get what you're saying, but many of us have underlying drivers that lead us to things that don't obviously support us. it's not always easy to change those subconscious desires. we are complicated beings. sometimes overeating or not exercising is actually supporting another need - eg feeling safe, feeling comforted or even loved. it's not so black and white. change may not be possible until that underlying need is supported in another way (than drinking or eating sugar).
