@omgryannn yes yes there are shotguns are broken and not in a good way. There's no way that I hit someone point blank for 25 damage. That's my problem with Fortnite now, every gun is heavily nerfed.

1 pumping was fun back in the day, and I used to get annoyed by it being removed, but looking back, I'm happy with the standard legendary sniper/pump headshot being 198. It's still an enormous chunk of damage, but it gives the person who is shot some slight chance to respond

I remember the funny thing about this season is that 1 week the challenges gave more battlestars than the should and people would go from tier 34 to 100 in the battlepass with 2 of those weekly challenges complete and epic decided not to remove the rewards earned, it was the first time I was tier 100 but I didn't have money for the actual pass which has probably my favorite battlepass skin in Calamity

Nightshade is super underrated. Don't get me wrong, the skin is terrible in almost every way, but the thought behind the skin is great. The whole season was a play on the rivalry between classic horror monsters and humans. Nightshade is an actual plant, but it has fantasy roots as well most notably its adverse effects on vampires. Tomatoes are also a member of the nightshade family of plants. Thus, nightshade is a vampire hunting tomato-person.

Im a bit bias towards this season because it was my first and last played season of Chapter 1, I even bought the battlepass and only got to level 60 and quit and didn’t pick the game up again until Quarantine 2020. I know this is unrelated but, I just finished the pets section of the video and man, I wish I got Zyg. I started playing in chapter 2 season 7 and started a week before Operation Skyfire. I was literally one page away from unlocking him. I didn't spend any of my battle stars on skins in that pass because all I wanted was Zyg, but because of that the only skins I got from the pass were Superman and Kymera, and I didn't even get any cool styles for Kymera. I seriously hope Epic brings back battle passes because when I bought that pass I thought I would have an unlimited amount of time to finish it. I seriously hate exclusivity. (also, one of my friends got it and keeps dangling it in front of me).

It's actual very easily possible for calamity's jiggle physics to have just been an animation error. There were a lot of fortnite skins even back then that have to work with a lot of emotes and since it was only noticeable on one singular emote it was likely just an animation error with the emote and the skin.

The only correction I would make is that the heavy AR and the mountain turret were overpowered. Some people were dropping a legendary scar over a blue heavy AR. Heavy AR just has better accuracy than the scar, and good headshot damage. The turret is overpowered… at least that’s what the community said at that time. A lot of people were complaining about the turret being overpowered, so Epic decided to nerf it

Learning about chapter 1 fortnite until 2024 is a shame. The approach at updates, fornightmares and how this video is narrated reminds me so much to club penguin, would have been nice to take on fortnite when club penguin closed. As someone who started playing in CH1S8, lemme say: Chapter 1 was pretty goated. Chapter 2 had some good moments (Season 2, 3, 4, 7, 8) but had some MAJOR letdowns. Looking at you, season 6. Chapter 3 was pretty alright but kinda mid at times. Chapter 4 was surprisingly awesome, and Chapter 5 was PAINFULLY mid.
