I agree 100%. I purchased a Shield Plus Performance Center recently and the trigger was unusable. I sent it in for warranty and they replaced the trigger. This is inexcusable.

I purchased my first Performance Center model recently...a Shield Plus. After cleaning it I only got 20 rounds through it before it failed to fire again. Had to send my brand new gun to S&W for repairs. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for any firearm and especially a Performance Center model. C'mon S&W! Your reputation is sliding downhill! Get your s**t together!

100% agreed. Bought two smiths in the last few years and both had QC issues. Most recently I bought a shield plus that broke a striker and the frame pins keep walking out. Guess my next gun is going to be a Springfield. Hellcat Pro Comp is looking better and better.

Love the giveaways! I’ve been very satisfied with every purchase from Smith. The company that starts with K, however, they’re 0/2. 1911 that had a bad bushing (twice). Got it fixed (twice) and sold it - bought another MP45. Zero issues with it.

Make a shield plus 9mm with a 3.5 inch barrel, the longer grip with the 13,and 15 round magazine is nice, but harder to conceal, the additional. 4 inch barrel will give more muzzle velocity/energy/and slightly less recoil due to a few more ounces.

I would love a compact metal M&P with a thumb safety. The full size ones are too big to conceal and I only carry autos with safeties. Also, I would love some more compact .45 ACP options, like a .45 ACP Shield Plus with the new trigger and a few more rounds than the last one. Final wish, more J and K frame choices with 3" barrels.

@@BeldarTheBrave42 got a lil more time to explain my thought process now. I know it’s a pretty hot round for a small pistol but I don’t like carrying full size guns concealed. I have a full size fn510 tactical, a canik tti combat and a Springfield and I just don’t like carrying them. My favorite edc to carry is my performance center 45 shield with ported barrel. It’s the most comfortable to me and I’m definitely not accurate at distance with it but 7 yards it’s fine. I like the idea of more capacity and faster round in something I can carry daily even if it takes practice to get follow up shots back on target.
