A month with no jobs | Farming Simulator - May

Do I need to run a tractor around a field this month? Nope. Harvesting? Nuh-uh. Selling a bunch of gubbins? Not a sausage.

Watching you drive off with the harvester thinking about "er doesnt he need that?" This is why I like the headers with a built in set of wheels, Powerstream I think (the red/white ones). The best use for grass is bust to bail and wrap it, and sell the silage when it's ready, and then just buy hay as require. Tedding is just a total pain. Also liked the Austin Powers move in the silage pit.

Hrrm it must be one of the mods I run then that auto aligns the header on the trailer after dropping. I remember back a bit it never done it, but then at some point the headers all started auto aligning on the trailer so long as you dropped it in somewhat of the right location. If it is a mod, not sure which one. Game I am currently playing doesnt have any form of autoload mod enabled, Nor Superstrength. Ther hayloft I have used before, rock up to the end part where you have the tip icon on the end of the building with your forage wagon and drop the straw, hay and I think grass works too into that trigger. Fill the trailer again using the other drive through trigger where you drive through the building. I believe you can also dump bales in the loading trigger and it will take them and store them, but when it comes back out its not baled, so you need a trailer or forage wagon to take it away again. From memory this is just a storage, it doesnt allow you to dry grass into hay that I am aware of. It holds about 250000 liters, so you will likely fill it within 1 lap of your cereal crop field. The Silo is just a grain silo designed to have simultaneous unloading and loading. You should be able to store most things in there, except at least in the base game it may not support root crops, grass/hay/straw, or seeds/fertilizer. Some of the modded silos do support all of those extra types, the one I use also supports Milk and liquids as well as grapes and any other produced item for the most part, although I have not tested it with the prouced items which only spawn in pallets like flour, bread, wood planks, etc. Doesnt that mower you were using have the option to swath the grass acting like both a windrower and a mower in one? Certainly looks like it from its design. Re the Silage pit: Adding the grass instatnly turns it into chaff (hence the lighter colour) at this point its no longer able to be fed to the sheep or used for Total Mixed Ration, you then need to compact it (best to do as you put it in if adding lots). Just drive over it repeatedly with a heavy tractor. Then seal the bunker and it will ferment over the course of a game month or 2. When ready unseal and its silage.

Not gonna say it but the mower has a swother feature so the windrower is kinda useless when you want to get grass but after making hay then you need it But its always fun the watch Colonel do his thing

Don't you just love driving with the W S A D keys . I have crashed more times than I can count .. lol , putting stuff on it's side is fun too , trying to right them again is , lets say interesting. You get silage from grass in those pits if you run over the grass to compact it then cover with a plastic sheet. but you knew that didn't you .. thanks for the "nothing to do this month" video.. a farmers job is never finished .. great stuff.

2 things You can attach tractors to trucktrailers but it needs a dolly(axle looking thingy) , but it is a bit of a faff The kuhn GA15131 is cheap as chips and the span of a 747 , whats not to like about it?

It should be, it's from the in game mod list. It's an autoloader if that helps. If you're on stream next week, remind me and I'll look it up.
