@@Charles_Anthony Yeah I went back and watched the first series a little too, and I forgot how middle eastern the vibe was - I thought it was done well, not overtly any particular culture but just sort of a vibe, handled very artfully and beautifully. All that seems to have been carefully extracted and replaced with a fictional (bird) culture that's nowhere near as compelling or enchanting.

Can the ship only travel at one speed? It would be an interesting mechanic to be able to move at different speeds ("Ramming Speed!") for different rates of coal consumption. If you just wanted to get somewhere specific fast you could go full speed, but if you wanted to have time to collect resources from underneath you on your way, you could go half or quarter speed or something.

In regards to your dismay at white Iron Ore, it could be based on Siderite, which is a greyish-white Iron Ore (Yes I googled Iron Ore and there are lots of different colours that it has been found in).

28:00 it is something I saw at least a few people being stumped by on different occasions, game isn't explaining that too well - the defence guns are air-to-air, to destroy something on the ground air-to-ground building is needed. I didn't notice you having one yet. Thank you for your service, Colonel! The series are coming together great!

@@colonelfailure yup - and that's where the game fails to be clear, it would be nice if it informed in the log that the sidequest content is locked because your stuff is not yet up to snuff (or "you need X to progress this quest). I hope they will smooth that out though, this being EA and work in progress. Because with free exploration it is easy to encounter situations like that.

@@veevoir Whichever town it was did say (back in episode 2) something on the lines of "you'll need weapons, go to Orrenspyre", which I think is also the Main Quest on the map, so I assume that's where the extra weapons will come from and what they're trying to guide people towards

Airborne Kingdoms back 4 years ago was the game that led to me to donning the uniform of a Fail Brigade member, and you know what, if I could I would do it all again as through your storytelling's and such I'm loving this series.
