Lytham is approx 5 miles from Blackpool but might as well be on another planet...much greener, cleaner, pleasant and peaceful...as you said,a distinct lack of beer monsters which is a no bad thing. Also no fast food chain outlets which has to be a massive plus.. Next time you're there pop into a cafe on Clifton Street called L'ora de Napoli...amazing cakes and ice cream..not cheap but this is Lytham.. Who can afford £735,000 for a 2 bedroom flat..😮

What is not to like about Lytham. It's a beautiful town. Across from Stringers is Nigel Holmes men's outfitters, which started life in Blackpool on Church St across from St John's. Nice town, nice video Stephen. Thank you.

You are so lucky to have such stunning heritage buildings....what I love so much about your country and the English gardens. I have to say I find Blackpool to be more of an interesting place to me cos I'm from a working class family and Blackpool diesnt have a pretentious feel about it , it has more of a genuine vibe. I ❤ your vids they are always very entertaining.

Your vids DEFINATELY addictive Stephen. Really enjoyed this tour around leafy. Flowery Latham, been years / looking very swish ! Shops looked. Great. Yeah a lot more serene then. Up coast, nice sometimes for peace and a lot less bustle. Yeh sounds good you doing vid on the. Posh cafes, and other. Venues, I love charity shops and I’ve noticed past. Few years plus, a lot is more new and donated products from other stores than retro. There’s some. Fantastic retro charity shops I went in, in Keswick, the stuff was. So unbelievable. Never seen anything like it. Never heard of any streets where no pedestrians lowed, first time for everything I suppose ! Th is once gain for brilliant vlog. Di. Xx

Great stuff mate, good to see the windmill has it's sails again after it's damage earlier this year - Lytham is great but so is Blackpool for completely different reasons - keep up the varied content Stephen & yes you should have a swankey coffee & then view the fantastic statue of BOBBY BALL in Lowther Gardens in Lytham - well worth a view - but you probably know that already !

Two very interesting videos Steve, this one and one where you drove from Lytham Windmill to the Windmill near Mearside Tesco's in Blackpool. The Lytham Windmill houses a very interesting little museum, which is well worth a visit but take cash if you want to buy anything. There is a very interesting old film you can watch about the trams from St Anne's going to Blackpool around the 1900s -1920s. Blackpool wanted to buy the tram network from St Anne's but St Anne's preferred to close it instead. As for charity shops, the best place to go is Cleveleys, Victoria Road West, where you got about 12 on a short shopping street, also a nice little flea market down a side street. I was surprised at how few charity shops there are in Lytham only about 4 or 5.

My favourite place in the north west. I have a recurring dream i meet a dark haired lady, my soul mate, early fifties, wearing a long, dark green coat, on Ansdell station, Lytham, who lives very close to it. Been having this for a year now. Still havent met her! 😢
@roygardiner2229 Жыл бұрын
That was really therapeutic and informative at the same time. I would like to try Whelan's fish and and chips. Let's face it, Lytham is the very antithesis of Blackpool. However, it for me has never had that "seaside feel" that Blackpool has in spades!
