Eric Hestand The worst part about that was he actually outperformed Roger Craig Smith in the auditions. He was the hands-down favorite. Bornheck Alright here’s the deal. You know those types of individuals who wield a voice tone that is settling. Well Roger does not belong in the following category and just doesn’t fit the role of voice acting sonic. Even with the scripts provided to roger in the more modern games I’m sure Jason would have done a better job by modifying his tone and emotion. The previous sentence is just an assumption and can not be proven, but Im sure most other civilians that possess an understanding of who sonic really is would have agreed with me. That is why I believe Jason is much more superior than Roger when talking in regards to voice acting sonic.

That’s why there are THREE time periods (classic period of stages, Dreamcast period, and modern period), THREE RIVALS (originally it was supposed to be metal for classic, shadow for Dreamcast, and silver for modern) and THREE bosses (death egg for classic, chaos for Dreamcast, dragon for modern)

I am guessing Sonic taught his Classic self more than just the homing attack, allowing the Sonics between Sonic Adventure 1 to Sonic 06 to learn a boost. But I really do like this, seeing past Sonics in generations makes sense of the timeline

sonic generations is kinda like sonic unleased except that you can do free style moves in the rainbow rings and those other types of dash ramps

Wow, that's a LOT of Sonic's to meet with in one game. I personally don't think there even needs to be alternate versions of Sonic. It's always gonna be the same guy at the end of the day regardless of his look or abilities (excluding Boom Sonic and Movie Sonic...yeah...those things shouldn't even be named "Sonic").
