Tankathon from day one. Building talent should be the only goal this year. They will not make the playoffs and even if they squeak in, it’s a 4 game exit. A top ten pick would be very beneficially. They still need scoring more than anything.

Would love to see the lineup you're showing in the video. Not sure Guerin is going to make it happen. He seems so very inclined to overpaying aging veterans. BUT.. where is Hartman in your line make-ups? I'd also point out that you have a very expensive 4th O-line and equally very expensive 3rd D-line, which means that those four players (Trenin, Hartman/Freddy, Foligno, Middleton) are substantially overpaid or will be in 1.33 years.

Yurov will be on the 1st line with Kirill if and when Yurov signs. Guaranteed. No question about it. The question is at Centre or Wing?!?! If Guerin AGAIN can't get Yurov to sign Kirill is gone. Also, nobody was great without Kirill. Rossi and Ek were ghosts without him. I'd rather have Hartman over Freddy Zucc Foligno MoJo. Hartman had 21 goals in 74 games. More GPG than Rossi. Also, it isn't that hard to just press box Freddy. Also, Denver will make the tourney but probably won't go on a run IMO....They lost A LOT of talent...... I LOVE THAT RUNDOWN OF THE ROSTER! Those all look like great combos. Peart is the only wildcard I could think of but he is as good as anybody. This is a perfect example of why we should be playing the kids and not the passengers. They bring hope and optimism along with their youthful skill and energy. Plus they NEED NHL experience as much as possible for when we get the deadcap off of the books because a lot of that money is going towards extensions. The goalie tandem is exactly what we should have too. Gus is a young but experienced netminder and can be a solid partner for Wallstedt. Plus everybody should know they will have that secret Swedish tandem chemistry going. Let Jesper overtake Gus at a natural pace as the true starter and then you can look for a new backup tendy if needed. Wallstedt still needs to prove his chops at the NHL level. Also a very good quote. It's not the number of the line, it's what the line is built for and the situational deployment they receive. Nice job Trav!

Hartman isn't going anywhere. They'll likely have money for Brock Boeser if he goes to free agency. I also think there's a strong likelihood they unload Freddy.

my hope is the owner wises up and send this old guard of management packing. this management/coaching staff is behind the times. youth movement is everywhere around the nhl except in the state of hockey. i dont see kk sticking around, the guy needs talent and the present roster doesn't have it. i dont know what billy is doing with where he's taking this team. he is excellent at drafting and lousy at doubling down with mediocrity.

Guys, we all like Zucc, but at 38, I don't think he should be on our roster we need to let the kids play and if Freddy is still here I would lose all respect for this office

There is NO WAY Ohgren should be playing in Iowa this year none. What does Heidt have to prove in the WHL again? And you said it could be two more years in the WHL for him WTF!! Why the central is stacked!! Stop wasting time and rebuild now. Just buyout some more guys already now and don’t drag it out.

*unrelated. R.u.s.s.o reports Charlie Strammel will be playing with a real "chip on hos shoulder" this year. Hey Charlie, we were given over 30 games in each of your first two seasons in Wisconsin and, by all accounts, were atrocious. Who you mad at, dude?!?!??! 😂 Also unrelated, Minnesota PWHL fired 3 coaches. Good lord, that club is as big of a mess as the the Wild but they have a Cup.

The rumblings about putting Zuccy back on the line with Kirill are ridiculous. Is the goal to win or to help Zuccy score more goals? Bc if it’s to win keep that Kirill EK Boldy line. It’s deadly! Zuccy not scoring is due to the fact he’s not that good. Kirill made him look good.
