My mom passed away this Thanksgiving. She just loved Kari. I told her about your videos. Now my dad watches Kari by himself. My dad and i always kidded around that we would open a funeral home. I just love watching 6' under it soothes me just like walking cemeteries. Kari thank you for being you and bringing your uniqueness to my mom❤

My mother paid ahead for her funeral. When she passed we had to pay for the increase in cost over the few years between her paying cash for her funeral and when she died. You had said if you pay ahead you are locked in for the payment. Hmmmm

I will be in a veterans cemetery where my husband is. Will we both be in one grave or will we have two graves? My husband is cremated but ground buried because i will be ground buried.

Josh I live in Cincinnati. The Chinese restaurant that I go to I drive past Baxter vault company. I don't want to sound morbid but will the company let you see how a burial vault is done. Do all the vault lids have the person name on the date of birth and the date of death After her death I finished up my plans.. Kari helped in what questions to ask. Spring Grove did one hell of a great job getting final arrangements. I am going into lake side mausoleum. Taking about vet benefits I got 100 bucks on the funeral. Thanks Karri and Josh . I like the vet funeral when the flag is taken off the casket and folded .

PS: my mother's side of the family, are from Maryland. Her brother-in-law, used to hunt deer. I've eaten it when I was abt 7 or 8, somewhere in the mid to late 60s. Its been so long, I forgot what it tasted like.😅😅

Woohoo! 80s and 90s big hair bands rock! (pun fully intended! 😂) I’ve managed to see a few in concert and there definitely were some pretty boys! I was always more enthralled by the guitarists like Slash, with the exception of Jon Bon Jovi and the Nelson twins 😊 Now I have 2 sons who are guitarists - 1 lead and 1 rhythm!

I know i should pre-plan my funeral, but I can't bring myself to do it. It makes me physically sick. And I certainly will not do it this month. It's my bday month! I know it's selfish, but I give my friend, bits and pieces of what I want, but I just won't write it down. She alrdy knows, that i want to be cremated, where I want my ashes scattered.....can a person have a private cremation, or Cremation funeral? I'm not sure which one I would like, yet.

My parents pre planned their death care. My dad died in 2009. My mom is still alive. Should I call the funeral home to make sure everything is ok with the pre planning or is that frowned upon?

MAKE SURE that you have IN WRITING the details, who, when will the DEATH DATES will be engraved on markers, my dad died in Thanksgiving 2009, the funeral home who did his arrangements told me THEY would do the engraving, well Spring 2010 NOTHING had been done, decided to wait longer & then just forgot, well when I decided to look into it again it really was too late to even think about contacting them, SO GET THAT TIED DOWN IN WRITING in case you have to get such done at a latter time

To my friends that have lost there husbands like I did was not to make any financial decisions or decisions to give things away for at least 6 months because you aren’t thinking straight when it first happens you think you are but your not I wish someone had given me that advice but they didn’t so I was taken advantage of big time it’s really sad but it happens

People that get cremated aren’t immune from chemicals in their bodies. If you’re having a viewing you’re getting pumped with chemicals. Cremation has nothing to do with chemicals either way. They’re totally different different concepts.
