My cousin was murdered by a cross-country serial killer. He brutally raped her, and did unspeakable things to torture her while holding her captive. Thankfully, she was his last victim. He was captured and then pleaded Guilty by reason of Insanity, he was sentenced to Life Without Parole back in 1975. And he is still alive in prison all these years later. He wasn't even supposed to be out on the streets because of his earlier crimes against women. But literally due to a computer error he was released. Ann Rule, the True Crime author actually wrote a book about this and how he was able to become a serial killer due to a computer error. I'm 41 and he has been in prison for longer than I have been alive. My cousin was 26 and had her whole life ahead of her, she also had a 3 year old son that had to grow up without her. We have to do better! We have to keep these people locked away!

I love your videos. This one is sad, poor Suzanne! Also, in the US at least, some houses have a light switch for lamps so you can turn the lamp on and plug it in a certain outlet and it will be controlled by the switch on the wall associated with that plug. Makes it so you don't have to turn the lamp off every time and use a switch instead.

What they did was just beyond horrific. I could barley stomach listening to the details. So so sad! I hope those murders get the ultimate punishment in this life and the hereafter. Just absolutely heartbreaking.

Just a reminder, you do NOT have to wait 24 hours before reporting a missing person. You push and push with the police and get them to take action. If police had taken it seriously from the first moment her parents reported her missing, maybe they would've found the men and her at the apartment. She could still be alive. Don't let them downplay it. Report it!

They absolutely should have at least tried to call her a cab to get her home safely. Worst case she could have left the car there and dealt with it later. Sucks, but she might have still been alive and if it got towed she could have gotten it back. Customers ask for a taxi all of the time at my work, and we call for them. This is so sad

I listen to MANY true crime videos, and the like. This one has really touched my heart. It's breaking. To know that her parents were RIGHT there. My heart hurts for them. I can't even fathom the pain of any of this. I'm a mom. It tears me up inside at the THOUGHT of not being able to reach them(mykids) in their time of need. I automatically imagined being in that situation(mother seeing daughter in car), seeing my child(even if i didnt know it) in their time of need and not getting to them. Not being able to help or save them. Its horrifying.

And I was like, wait.. did you not live with landline? 😂😂 Because I remember I had to walk down to the payphone. So I can call my cousin and we would talk for hours if our home phones got disconnected or something. If our parents couldn't pay the bill.. We would walk right on down to the payphone and call each other. Those payphone bills were high. Collect calls 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️😂😂 That's why our parents could never afford to pay them.😅😂 but I feel really old now and I'm 31 CRAZY But yes trying to reach someone was hard especially if they didn't have a pager/beeper

Where I live in Canada, the wall plug is often connected to the switch because there is no lights in the ceiling. So you can use the switch to turn on and off a lamp thats across the room. Wall plugs have two ports where you can plug in your appliances, therefore im assuming she had her clock in the second port, so when she flicked the switch it stopped the clock. Love your videos, always very interesting and exciting. Thank you

My papa had a switch in his house that turns off the power to the room. Some plug in alarm clocks would turn back on with the time they were turned off displayed.

Nice job, the crime documentation, and the make - up, and the switch probably is the main electricity switcher, in every apartment should be one, by the entrace door, in Central - East Europe by us, it is so, and if you switch it, electricity is out for a second, can effect that clock to stop,I hope it was what you were thinking on 😊

FACT: There is not a single law in a single US state that says that a person must be missing for X amount of hours in order to be reported missing!! Police will often tell people this because they don't want to "waste" their time & resources on cases where the person has just left of their own accord. If you're ever in this situation, call them on their BS! *And my guess would be that the outlet where her clock was plugged in had a wall switch. The house I grew up in had an outlet attached to a regular looking light switch.

I do OF and there is definitely a LOT of men out there who enjoy the idea of forced sexual contact. BUT there are ways you can go about it if that does turn you on, so that people don't have to be killed. There are women who will play the role for it but it's not enough for some animals! It's most definitely about control and dominance over someone weaker than they are.

Some electrical outlets can be controlled by a wall switch. It's usually used for lamps, so you can flip them on or off instead of bending over and fumbling with the lamp. Theoretically, it could be used to turn on/off anything.

I also feel so bad for the parents because had they gone to Suzanne's house to check for her first because they called the police, well, can you just go over there and do a welfare check? And when the police refused, they should have went to do a welfare check at her house because she probably would have been saved caught in the act. You know what I mean. And they went, spent hours at the airport. Poor family.

I also think we should bring the Bible into it.. an eye for an eye. So exactly what you've done to them should be done unto you. The SA OVER AND OVER. Then Take them to those cliffs, throw them over again and again and cover them with rocks. I promise you, if we started doing death sentences the same way they unalive people, there would be a lot less crime.

In some American houses mainly apartments you a ceiling light and for some homes or apartment that don’t have a ceiling light they have a light switch and wherever that light switch is located their is a socket so whatever you plug in that socket you flip the switch on or off so she had her clock plugged up in that socket and she flipped it off so it could stop at that time I hope that make sense

The switch- I have something like this in my house so this is my best guess. I think it’s a switch that controls power to a few select outlets. By switching it off and then back on (or when her mom switched it back on) the clock would be frozen. Like when your house looses power. Poor Suzan. And her parents. Rest gently 💜
@vickymaynard4963 Жыл бұрын
the light switch...so it was clearly an electric clock and she probably had it plugged into the dedicated switch that controls the electricity to that specific socket. It's odd she would have a clock on that switch because in my experience people usually use that switch for a lamp or some sort of light that they can turn on at the door where the switch is located.
