I learned so much from this video! I purchased a book on creating texture with colored pencil, but never thought of using it with watercolor. I've been skipping backgrounds recently, so I learned how to add backgrounds without creating a specific scene. My ❤ will always belong to traditional watercolor, but I desperately need to learn digital as I want to sell cool stuff like you do. I have Crafty, but I always always forget about it. Thanks for the reminder -- to you & Craftsy for sponsoring. April showers bring May flowers & cats. February specifically because you only used pink & purple in the background. I hope you signed each one as they'll be perfect to disassemble & keep as art. I have 5 years of calendars from my art mentor that I'll never toss.

My favorite month is September because it is my birthmonth too (actually my birthday is today - so I share it with this video). Generally I love fall very much - so I also love October and November. In Those month I start living again after I sufferd through summer (I can't stand heat). The calenders are really cute! I like the pages of September and November the most.

I love and adore the look you get from adding coloring pencils to watercolors 🥰 My personal favorite is probably november - which surprised me! It's one of my leaat favorite months of the year, because of said rainy and dark weather. But the rainbow umbrella in the textured rain is so fun 😊

This is just amazing,ful of colour,fun and beautifully drawn and coloured as we all know you do.What a fun class to be in lol!..I loved school,and all lessons just not good at Maths or geography…Loved my art and sewing though too.But I am going back many years ago.Always been able to draw since about 5 and could make just about anything on my sewing machine for next to nothing .🥰

I also love sptember: it has the right weather and temperatures (south europe). The cat i like the most is January because it remembers me of the fourth Doctor Who (a BBC-English television series) and his looooong and colourful scarf. Well done Cheers from Italy. Dan 🧡

love the calendar, illustrations are so fun and positive. Personally for a calendar I do prefer it to be obnoxiously seasonal, on verge of cringe, it just is more fun in my opinion :)

I'm a digital artist so I don't need to scan my art in most cases, but when i do draw traditionally, I always wonder about the scanning progress. Which file do you have your scans be? And what px size do they end up being? Whenever I had my art scanned in the past my only options were jpeg and pdf and neither seem appropriate for illustration work.
