You are going to be busy! Gotta love the cooler weather. I will be installing new gears and transfer case to my LJ before Thanksgiving. Kanati's are great tires. I really enjoyed them on the JK. Once the new BFG's wear out on the LJ, I will most likely go back to the Kanati's. Love those wheels, so glad you didn't go black.

That’s my exact plan lol stockpile parts during summer and work on it when it’s cooler out. I can’t wait to see your LJ! That’s my goal jeep other than a Willys 😎. You’ve sold me on the Kanati’s and had 35’s on the truck before these 37’s. And with the wheels I think l matured and I think the raw aluminum is better looking

Just found your channel. I have a 1985 K10 that I’m doing a very similar build on. Your collection of parts looks a lot like mine. Been collecting the parts the past couple of years. I know this is an older video and I will be watching the others to get caught up.

Love the truck build! How is all the extra weight and big tires going to affect your gas mileage. I drive a heavey ass suv and I get 12mpg stright, with gas high it stinks but I like my ride. Happy Travels!!!

I’m hoping that the axle gearing and overdrive in the transmission will help with gas mileage a lot. These trucks stock average around 20mpg from the factory. So I’m shooting for 15 mpg hopefully

It would have been cheaper to have a 2001 and up Silverado 2500 gas truck rear axle. 14 bolt 10.5 ring gear with duel piston brakes already to go. 68" wms to wms instead of 65"

I don’t blame you there but would the 68” WMS match with the front GM D60 WMS?

@2AOverland I put a 70" out of a van in my 97 K2500 suburban and a Dana 60 high pinion from a Ford 05 and up. Old Dana 60s are about 70" wide, and Ford I have is 71-3/4" wide.
