It is sad to me that a bride would let a “psychic” have more influence over her choice of dress than her mother and more importantly her own heart. Sad also that a person one assumes is a friend as well as a psychic would let their ego, power trip and need to be right make a bride cry. If a bride has that magical feeling about or connection with a dress and as an added bonus’s her friends and family agree with her then that is the dress. It saddens me that a bride would need more than that to make a decision. Some people in this world profit, emotionally and/or monetarily, from the pain of others. For once, I'd like to see a bride show up solo, go through dresses with the staff assigned to her, find that forever dress that makes her feel wonderful, then choose maybe one family member and one trustworthy friend to return to the shop with her so they can see what she has pre-chosen. With the idea that yes, she wants a few loved ones to see her dress, but in the end it's her choice, not theirs.
