If anyone wants to share this video, go right ahead. I would greatly appreciate it. It’s hard growing a channel from scratch because the algorithm acts like we don’t exist. But sharing the video is a way to reach more people. Thanks!
Have you ever tried to help someone and it come back to bite you? Well I promise you’ll consider your experience trivial after hearing this story.
Considering Butler’s attitude in the interview, it’s no surprise he didn’t change. This doesn’t “happen all the time in sports.” That assault is widely considered the most violent assault in all of sports. Psychopaths try to normalize and rationalize their behavior, or they’ll completely blame someone/something else. In the full interview, he blamed 9/11 stress and his baby mother keeping his kid from him for the violent outburst.

Sam was a really talented and entertaining individual. Also a super kind heart. It’s tragic but testament to the heart of the man that he’d open his home to someone in trouble. In the early 2000s , I was on a trip to New York and caught his show on public access and was riveted by it. When I got home to LA I found his info and reached out to him to tell him how much I fancied his program and wished I had access to it in Los Angeles. Without hesitation or solicitation, he mailed me a VHS tape compilation of his program, and I got all my friends together to expose them to Sam. We laughed our asses off at his quick wit and cut to the bone takes on what was going on at the time. He was a rising star and should’ve had his chance to showcase his talents to a wider audience. RIP Sam. All love to the Kellerman family. What an incredible loss.

All of us went to Undisputed, we checked back out of respect for Stephen A and to our surprise Max nailed it. Now Stephen A is forcing hid departure without fully acknowledging it. Damn, that was sad. In that interview, he didn't even realize he did anything wrong. Now, my son has done fighting sports, and a lot of his friends were boxers and all. So I have a passing idea of sport etiquette, and every boxer would be totally appalled by someone punching a guy after the match. Let alone when they are walking over to give you a hug. The guy has more wrong with him than bi-poler disorder.

I certainly agree. I don’t think he ever once owned up any of what he did. He even fought the murder charge until they lowered it to 3rd degree. I wish professional documentary companies still did in depth interviews with murderers. I feel like they’ve stopped doing them in recent years, I believe it’s because they don’t want to encourage fame hungry murderers. In the 80’s & 90’s every infamous murderer that wanted a cable TV interview could get one. And those interviews help people like me SOOOOO much when creating documentaries. Plus, I’m a fan in a weird way so I also want to see the videos.

I heard Max lost his brother but I never knew it was under these circumstances. Truly heartbreaking, but I'm glad that he's gone on to have a successful life and career after that. I've dealt with mental health issues myself for most of my life and it's been an issue functioning as a fully healthy human being but thank God it never has led me to harming anyone else physically. I strongly believe in not judging others and forgiveness but the way Butler tried to excuse himself for the sucker punch even in a moment of calm , there's no way he should ever be a free man ever again. If a person's conscious can't step in at any point to tell them to stop beating a person to death , then that's beyond excuse.

I can speak about being in "the club" that Max was talking about. Lost my very close sister a few years back- she was a student at CU Boulder on a full ride scholarship for being a classical musician. She was first chair in the musical ensemble (basically the best of the best). Total musical genius... A few years later she would die of a drug overdose while a bag lady and totally homeless. She had had a mental break and severe physical ailments and disappeared to San Francisco. She even had a daughter who would now grow up without a mom. Shit still just eats me up. Hard to believe it was even the same person who I thought was the most brilliant person I'd ever known... So I agree you find solace with others who have suffered heavy loss, but it isn't a club you would want anyone to be a part of. Ugh. Rough stuff... 😞

@@Dez360 I figured you’d been uploading for years considering how much content you have. You’re doing extremely good to have been uploading for only 4 months. It’s no surprise you didn’t know. I actually didn’t know until I started researching for my next documentary. Max doesn’t like talking about it, which I find respectable. I could only find one video of him speaking about it and in the video, he told the interviewer he didn’t want to really speak about it. I don’t have another boxing story planned but I do know a few similar stories. One you’ve might of heard of about the boxer who filled his gloves with concrete, battered and defeated a highly ranked prospect, who then went to quit boxing and become addicted to drugs, a few years later he died in a car crash. I believe his name was Billy from Nashville. I actually plan on creating a documentary about Kawhi soon. He had an inspirational story. I totally agree. Becoming a person of culture is invaluable, you learn so much about the world and it teaches more about yourself as a human. I love the ocean and islander people are always friendly, so the Philippines is top of my destination list.

I didn’t have someone that crazy or dangerous ever stay with me but still…mostly leaches, people who barley worked, one even would consistently throw me under the bus despite all the good things I did for them….especially in LA(where I lived almost all of my life) you have to watch it because you have so many douchebags… One thing about letting someone stay with you even if they are someone who is actually getting out there and trying to work…it’s probably going to take a year for them to get the necessary 5-7k (probably more) for the first and last for an apartment in LA, so they will try to stay with you for that long….even longer if they are someone who works a minimum wag job and blows most of their money on cigarettes, booze, drug…etc I have a condo in St. Paul Minnesota and would never think of letting anyone live with me anymore

wow, this story has really made me sad, I feel for the brother. 29 years!!! How does that work!! I enjoy helping people, but in 2020 I got backfired by two separate incidents, both by helping people wholeheartedly. In a sad way, its telling me never to help or trust people again no matter how hard they cry.... but what if it's the very person who really deserve the help? Thanks for the story...such a tragic thing. I hope Butler will reflect on his dark side and change... though it's already too late for one family.

I don’t think you should stop helping people if you’re able but definitely be more careful. Especially on the internet, there’s so many con-artists on here. I don’t even like thinking about them because it makes me mad, mostly how they pretend to be sick, have mental health or family issues. Karma will get them. I do like watching the internet scammers being exposed here on KZbin. It’s too funny. They also make me mad, especially considering they scam old and vulnerable people but not as mad as the people who fake illnesses. There’s a diagnoses for some of those people but I can’t remember what it’s called. I’m not going to lie, I feel like some diagnoses shouldn’t carry the weight they do. We shouldn’t say EVERYTHING will be okay because this murderer is a psychopath. Or this con-artist didn’t mean to scam you, he has a condition.

@@mariacheung647 have you considered making a tiktok yet? I haven’t changed my opinion toward the content on the app but my opinion of the app itself has changed a bit. @@mariacheung647 you don’t have to upload but now that you mention that, I guess you don’t have a reason to go there because the content does suck. As far as I know, there’s no ads over there. I’ve only been there for one week, still learning a lot. You can get paid sponsorships or donations.
