So cool I got my 64’ when I was 16, except mine has the Holiday package not the 442. I’m 18 now and still sinking money into it 😂

My parents had a '62 Cutlass, a '64 Cutlass and a '66 Cutlass when I was a kid so I know them well. Agreed. Nice ride.

Oh! Just remember back in early 70’s, I purchased a used cutlass with a formal styled hardtop for 50 bucks, medium blue inside and out with bucket seats. Drove very smoothly.

Beautiful car. I have one just like it and a 1970 442 w30 4 speed car with 48000 original miles on it.

This was definitely a fun car to drive. With engine upgrades, brake upgrades (metallic brake linings), and wider wheels/tires, mine could keep up with Corvettes, not only in a straight line, but in the turns, too. Keep in mind that the 4-4-2 used the convertible frame for added stiffness, and front/rear anti-roll bars kept body lean to a minimum.

I was 17 years old when I bought my first Oldsmobile cutlass from my good friend in highschool for $1000 and me and my cousin worked on the car and put a 455 rocket engine in it with 202 fuelly heads and a crane cam with a 750 holley carb and it had a b&m shift kit in it when I bought it and I also put a 411 posi rear in it and I took it to the atco speedway in Atco new jersey and it ran mid 12's in the 1/4 mile and the front tires came off the ground it was very fast and powerful and had a great body style and very reliable and I was hooked on Oldsmobile cutlass's which I owned at least 25 cuttlass's when I was younger and I loved all of them very much and thanks for sharing this with me and bringing back the best memories of my younger years 😎👍❤️

I acquired a English rover with the same 215 engine back in the late 1970s. I pulled the engine and put it in a airboat I built.

This is why you need to keep the emergency brakes working. In addition, some idiots spent 100K supercharged Mercury without a functioning emergency brakes ands up rear ending a minivan.

@ride-ct-classiccars Yes. I am referring to 60's era muscle cars, so the grand national got omitted.
